A 12th century castle, well maintained. Has a nice restaurant inside. Two tall towers side by side. we can climb up to the top of the middle and taller tower. Toilet inside.
This is a lovely double-castle in rural area of Loire Atlantique (although considered part of historical Brittany). Be sure to climb the tower of the medieval castle to get good views of the site and nearby town, as well as seeing a recreation of a medieval bedroom.
I loved it because the chateau was delightful and the surrounding areas were perfect for a picnic, plus we fed the ducks some peanut crisps.
Nice building. And it seems there is a museum inside but I can’t find any information online.
