I had a very good experience with the guide! She was very friendly and informative! I visited on 4th of July 5pm. The app was very helpful, i can listen or read from my phone and listen to the guide at the same time. The Grottes is very beautiful. And a little warning: they will play a little video, which it will be completely dark for a moment with sounds effect. 🙃

A visit to Grotte de Thouzon is truly an enchanting experience that I highly recommend. Located just outside Avignon, this stunning cave offers a captivating glimpse into the natural beauty that lies beneath the surface. The guided tour through the grotto was both enlightening and engaging. Our guide provided a wealth of information about the cave's fascinating geological formations, including its impressive stalactites and stalagmites. The sheer scale and intricate details of the underground structures were awe-inspiring and showcased the incredible artistry of nature. The cave is well-preserved and thoughtfully illuminated, allowing visitors to fully appreciate its majestic features. The cool, refreshing environment inside is a pleasant contrast to the summer heat outside, making for a comfortable and enjoyable exploration.

Phenomenal caves with a guided tour taking about 45 mins. Fantastic stalagtites at an incredible scale lit up perfectly. A light show at the farthest point in the caves was also stunning. We were provided with guide cards in English but the guide spoke so clearly we were able to understand a lot of the French too despite many years since learning French at school. We were also grateful for the guide providing recommendations of other local sites to visit during our holiday.

An interesting place to visit, the gid tells interesting, spectacular stalactites, the water that creates small reservoirs looks exceptionally effective. I would recommend.

60 million years old caves. Temperature inside the caves are low (still you can manage without sweater/jacket). 45 min guided tour. Has car parking. Beautifully lighted at the end of caves..

Interesting cave. Not very big, but well worth a visit. Entrance is to the left of parking, I nearly left without entering because the 2 gates were locked, so I thought it was closed already (5 pm Sunday) but it was still open until 6.
