We have stayed at Prairies a number of times now and continue to return as it is the most fabulous destination in Europe without a doubt. ||The location is sublime, on the sand, at the beach at Port Grimaud, a fantastic location for visiting the area. The rooms are perfect, wooden lodges, all well equipped and well maintained, with great facilities such as a nice coffee maker. The landscapes are super-insta-friendly and make everything look beautiful. ||The facilities on site are fantastic. Many great bars and restaurants. I totally recommend The Long Bar (don’t forget the Happy Hour!) also Les Bagneusses au la plage. |The Long Bar is so super cool, really laid back, chilled, with brilliant entertainment, the most amazing staff and Herve a fabulous, helpful and very cool manager. ||The pool area is amazing, great to spend a full day there, with an additional bonus of a great bar with fine cocktails. There’s a good selection of children’s activities on site, aimed at all ages, really well suited to keeping younger ones entertained. ||A special thank you to Kim and the team at reception who are all so kind and welcoming, making our stay a brilliant one.

This place is a real gem. Great location, great food, great service and overall a really good time. The rooms are also great but do keep in mind that this a high end camping resort and not a luxury hotel. My only complaint about the rooms are a slight lack of storage in the bedrooms (one small closet with only one shelf above the hanging space). It was fine but we had to be creative despite packing quite light. This place has club med vibes, a bit different but a lot of similarities with what club med was like decades ago. We'll likely go back, my daughter is already asking us to and we were just there a few weeks ago.

What a treat this place is, 100% worth the extra cost. Gorgeous well kept cabins with what looks like a Maldivian vibe, right on a gorgeous beach with an enormous pool. Everyone was polite friendly and couldn’t do enough. Free breakfast, dog treats and toys and the boujeest welcome. ||If you’re thinking of going just do it.

We stayed in one of the new Bondi Lodges at Prairie de la Mer and were excited by the idea of a more premium experience. The resort itself is wonderful — a beautiful location near Port Grimaud, close to beaches and restaurants, and with a huge, well-equipped pool. The concierge team, especially Kim, were genuinely helpful and welcoming when we raised issues.||The lodges look stylish and have appeal, but they didn’t live up to the luxury price tag. Layout-wise, they are not ideal for families with young children, as the bedrooms open directly onto the veranda rather than connecting internally. The living space inside is very small, and after a few nights, it felt cramped for a family of four.||Noise was a major issue. Our first lodge backed onto an outdoor bar with nightclub-level music until 11pm, followed by groups talking and drinking late into the night. We were moved, which helped slightly, but constant noise at this level is not compatible with “luxury” lodges marketed to families.||For the price (comparable to a luxury hotel), the lack of housekeeping was also disappointing. Over 10 nights, towels and bed linen were never refreshed, and there was no cleaning service at all. Add to this the impracticality of the only laundry being a 10–15 minute walk away — and always busy — and it made daily life more stressful than it should have been. It would make sense for one of the lodges in this area to be converted into a dedicated laundry/amenities space.||Overall, Prairie de la Mer is a beautiful resort, and the Bondi Lodges could be excellent. But without better noise management, housekeeping, and practical facilities, they fall short of delivering the true luxury experience the price suggests. With a few thoughtful tweaks, they could become as special as they look on the surface.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Prairie de la Mer! The resort is extremely family-friendly, and our children felt at home right away. Everything is spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained, from the accommodations to the pool areas and gardens. Another big plus: you’ll find everything you need on site – restaurants, shops, leisure activities, and of course the gorgeous beach. There’s no need to leave the resort to enjoy a relaxing and varied holiday. A lovely touch was the small gesture upon arrival and departure, which made us feel genuinely welcome. These thoughtful details make all the difference and leave lasting memories. We can highly recommend Prairie de la Mer and are already looking forward to our next visit! 🌴✨

We really enjoyed our stay! We thought all the staff were very efficient and friendly.|However there are a few things that I feel really need to improve for a better service.||Pros:||1 - Evening entertainment was excellent. A really good mix of stuff for all ages.|2 - Great activities for kids; face painting, mini disco, air conditioned creche (we were thankful to escape here with the kids when it was crazy hot!).|3 - Funfair was great. I thought it would be tacky, but it was small enough to not take over the area as such, and my 3 year old loved it; carousel, trampolines, bouncy castle, little train ride. (Funfair is not included in price of your stay but each ride didn’t cost much).|4 - Restaurants are good with great choice, although quite on the pricey side (I paid 18€ for a main meal halloumi salad with hardly any halloumi 😆). Canopy in particular was so lovely, fab food, fantastic service + great views, very enjoyable.|5 - Pool area is great; tropical, vast, relaxing, & the children’s pool was a great size and started out shallow enough even for for small babies.|||Cons:||1 - In the mornings we had to queue outside the pool to ensure we got an umbrella as there were definitely not enough and more are needed - this is a real issue, and there is plenty more space for more umbrellas so I’m not sure why there aren’t more. There are so many children, & most guests were needing them for their families in the intense heat.|| 2 - People pushing to the front of the queue at the pool entrance - Prairies NEED to have more control to stop guests doing this, as it’s highly frustrating to others when they’ve been queuing politely for 20 mins (with children!) prior to opening. Please have staff at the pool entrance stopping people pushing in. It is not good enough.||3 - Our 2 bedroom Fare Jardin lodge (no. 207) was very basic and small, when I looked at the floor plans of the Fare Jardin 2 bedroom lodges on the website, our lodge definitely did not correctly portray the floo

We loved our stay here at the Prairies. It's a huge resort with a range of little cabins to rent, some seaside and most in the interior. |Great check in with friendly multi lingual staff, allocated parking and you're taken to your door |Onsite is a supermarket, bakery, multiple restaurants bars and a cafe. It's also a 5 min walk to Port Grimaud the Italianate cute waterside village offering yet more places to dine or grab an ice cream. |The house was really well equipped with a comfy bed, good quality linens, towels (but bring beach towels), Nespresso machine, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, and full kitchen utensils pans crockery and cutlery. Really handy they also supplied washing up liquid, sponge, bin bags, tea towel, dishwasher tablets and a starter pack of Nespresso pods, tea and hot chocolate. On our first morning they left a brilliant breakfast bag with fresh bread, local jam, milk and pastries - such a lovely gesture. |We were in bliss dining on our outdoor terrace as often as possible then indoors had a decent shower and fabulous aircon to stay cool in the heatwave. |This place rightly has five stars it's such a well run resort. It is expensive but hey the south of France is expensive and it's well worth it when you sip a glass of rose admiring the super yachts in the Gulf ! |Our only small complaint was the volume and late finish of the nightlife. They seemed to have live bands or house music every night to 11pm so loud we'd struggle to hear our TV indoors. For a family resort this seemed an odd choice and I'd rather the entertainment was a little quieter for those with kids to settle. |The TV had the usual shortage of English channels but if you signed into their WiFi you could cast streaming services onto it which was a great benefit.|We never felt insecure there - the beach is public but resort security guards patrolled often and we got questioned once for forgetting our wristbands which is well noticed! |Just a lovely place . Highly recommend an
