Amazing food, excellent wine list and impeccable service. A 5* experience from start to finish. Thank you for helping us translate the menu, much appreciated! A truly great culinary experience
Peaceful, fine dining feeling restaurant. Food was cater to detail and service super friendly, polite and warm. Must visit if you feel like experiencing upper bistro in Lille. 100% worth the visit. Super funny, I also loved the design of the WC haha. You will see what I mean when you get there 😉
Classic French cuisine dishes with a +++++! Brasserie Dufour reinvent classics from our grand mothers (if you were lucky enough to have a grand mother like mine!). The wine list offer a great range of french wines for all budgets. I loved the snails ... never had some cooked like these! The sauce was lovely and velvety which complemented/softnened the natural earthiness taste of snails. The traditional coquille st Jacques on a bed of spinach has a very delicate béchamel based sauce. Eatibg at Brasserie Dufour is a great experience! The venue is just right in terms of size, decor and comfort! All complemented by a friendly, attentive and knowledgeable waiteressing service. Thanks a lot for a great experience!
On the 23rd December, I had dinner here with my family, and we had such a wonderful night. The waiter made us feel belong from the moment we walked through the door, and was very professional in the way he worked. The food was so rich and classic as well. The brioche with the bone marrow starter and the tournedos de boeuf main course were both served in a jus that I could have swum in. The foie gras complemented the beef so well, it was married together in a mouthful of perfect cookery with meatiness and fattiness with sweetness and sharpness from the jus. My parents thoroughly the escargots l'Abbaye they shared. The chicken main course was generous as well as being on point with its execution. The desserts closed the show for us brilliantly too. The bombe was faultless, the millefeuille textbook, and the chocolate mousse was served in a trio based off chocolates from three different parts of the world; it was a very clever dessert indeed. The wines complemented the meal so well, and I enjoyed the abricot liquor. A restaurant of classic French cookery that showcases the country's level of cuisine.
Classy brasserie with classy food and an excellent choice of wines. The deco and service are good but also a bit too uptight for my liking (this btw is so often in France, lighten up people!)but Dufour definitely is worth the visit.
Dog friendly. So good that I should probably reduce the ratings of other restaurants we've been too. Exceptional service, amazing drinks, perfect food. You'll struggle to find a better place.
Absolutely outstanding — brilliant cooking, creative and traditional at once, and exceptional service. A perfect lunch to end our trip. I’d come back to Lille just for the chance to eat at Brasserie Dufour again.
Despite our rowdy family, the staff remained surprisingly pleasant, and the food was absolutely great! Be sure to order the steak smothered in anchovies, and don't skip the escargot—you won't regret it!
