We welcomed our baby boy in late October in hopital foch. Overall we were happy with our experience though we wish some things would be different. The hospital staff that followed my pregnancy and then were present during the birth was excellent, very welcoming, professional and encouraging. I had a great epidural experience. The gynaecologist had to intervene and use forceps & episiotomy to help the baby come out, but she stitched me very well and i was practically pain free in one week. The stay at the hospital was challenging. We had a single room so we were happy to be together with my husband. But the room was small, dark and the visits from the team every 1-2 hrs didn’t allow us to rest. The food was not great, especially for somebody who needs to recover from birth. We had a trouble with latching / breastfeeding and we received conflicting advice from the team every time someone entered the room.

Very bad experience. They put one guy in maternity reception who refuse to give information concerning my wife pregnancy. Even I asked him if there is any assistance social he said no. I asked another girl and she helped me. Totally unacceptable behaviour, I can't understand how people like him working in reception specially renowned hospital like Foch. I request hospital authority please look this matter sincerely and put in reception who can help people. Merci

Exceptional. Amazing, attentive, and friendly start from start to finish. Highly skilled. The fastest turnaround time (as I ended up in emergency). Really super impressed. Great hospital.
