In my opinion they have ruined the old Roman theatre by constructing a modern one on top of it.
Great theathre. They kept most important parts and have a good maintenance! Should see it!
The modern theatre is shut down but the ruins are free to visit. Not worth a special trip but a calm spot full of birdsong and butterflies.
I had expected quite a lot more of this theater. Yes you can see the old ruins from the Roman Empire, but instead of conserving this they build a metal seating area on top of it! I guess they use this for a modern theater in an ancient setting nowadays but I would liked it more if they had build it without hiding so much of the old ruins.
Visit only if there is an event/programme. It is great that. It is still in use as an event place but not much to see here

Enjoyed the open air movies and the classical concert that i saw there this summer. À refaire.👍🏼
I love seeing the mix of the medieval and the modern use for this theatre!
