Visited hotel with a tourist group from Slovenia and we were satisfied with everything - rooms are big, modern, clean and cosy, breakfast is very diverse (...it would be nice if they had more of fresh vegetables) and good (loved the bread and cheese selection), parking space was enough for 55 seater. I highly recommend.

We stayed in the hotel for 4 days. The rooms were clean and the bathroom looks recently renovated. The staff was friendly and breakfast was more than fine. Not too much choice, but enough to not get bored of after a few days. Location was great for our goal: visiting Europapark. You do need a car for this though. The hotel is a bit outside of Erstein, but the city center is walkable (~30 minutes). Given the price we paid (~50 euro per person, per night) it was more than worth it.

We stayed just one night and were extremely happy with this hotel. We booked a double room on the promotion half board basis. The room was big and well equipped with a nice big bath. The evening meal was quite exceptional and one of the best we have had all served in an attractive restaurant with efficient staff. Breakfast was also good. The promo price represented exception value.

Room was not cleaned at all during visit of 4 nights, this was announced by a small note in the room after arrival, but not mentioned when booking. Despite we booked the largest room, the bathroom has a mini size, at breakfast the baguette was multiple days old, staff quite unfriendly. Very poor choice

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in a group of 20 people. As it'S a 3 star hotel, my estimations aren't high, but the hotel is really better than we expected. the rooms are typically French, means they are small with a French-double, but the bathroom are above the average of a 3 star hotel. a big shower, nice furniture and enough space. Everything is pretty clean and you'll feel very comfortable. As we had a booking including breakfast and dinner, we have the dinner in the whole group. The breakfast was served as a buffet and it was more than a usual French breakfast. The dinner was served from some very young girls which where very friendly, helpful and fast as well, so the whole group got their meal at the same time. If you like to find a hair in the soup, it was the circumstance, that the door to the breakfast was closed when we where there before the official start time.

Staff were friendly. They were lots of bees flying in reception area which I personally found awkward. Rooms that i booked were not properly prepared i.e towels were on the floor. House keeping needs some improvements. Hotel is located half way between Europa Park (Germany) and Strasbourg (France) so this ideal location has given us the apportunity to visit both places which my family and I loved so much.

The service was friendly, and the rooms were clean, with modern decor. Our large family group appreciated the bar area as a place to meet for pre-dinner drinks. The hotel is an easy walk from the train station, and around 20 minutes walk from the town centre.

I am coming here very often for business reasons. The quality of the hotel has drastically diminished. I am not talking about the restaurant (well, also at the restaurant the quality has gone down), but the hotel itself. Cold rooms (also because they switch off the heating during the day, to save money). They rely on old A/C, extremely noisy that shut off every now and then. So noisy that you can't use it at night.... I arrived at 7pm and the room was so cold I could not take a shower.... I will give them another chance, then bye bye Crystal. If it gets better I will change my review.
