True oasis of peace and beautiful spot ideal for sightseeing, hikes and meditation. With so much history going centuries back. I visited this valley three times already - in Summer, Autumn and Winter - and I thoroughly recommend it at any time, even though in the Summer the level of water is quite low and so some attractions are a little less impressive.
Amazing walk! This is one of the best family friendly options in the area. The walks are super easy and beautifull. The road is wheelchair and stroller acceasible and most of it is shaded so you can also enjoy it on a hot day. The kids had a great time and so did we!
Beautiful place, the shady path was a treat on such a hot day. Enjoyed the old buildings and trees.
A lovely spot, with free parking, and we really looked forward to walking to the Abbey and back. Half way there we had to turn back because of signs saying dogs are not allowed, even when on a lead. Really?! You think it's reasonable to stop well behaved dogs with responsible owners from accessing the trail? Or is it because so many French dog owners seem incapable of picking up their dog's poo (it does appear to be an issue in general)? We were very disappointed. Also, the toilets are a great idea - but perhaps also have people clean them occasionally?
Nice and easy walk with the family. Good option during the hot days as there is a large part of the trail in the shade next to the river / stream La Fauge with some small waterfalls. To find the parking better to arrive early.
Beautifull place with a lot of picnic places.
Landmark Foto misleading. This is just the location of the parking.
While we were walking in the parc, the park guardian of St. Pons took a knife against us, walked through to us with the knife. He has the belgium shipperd dog. Not a safe place anymore, be careful!
