We have been staying at this hotel once or twice a year, for several years, because of its location not far from the station and shops. This time, we found that the hotel was undergoing refurbishment, which was not quite complete. We do not use the other facilities of the hotel, so this review will focus specifically on our room. The refurbishment of the rooms has meant the layout has changed such that there is less surface space on which to keep items or to work, e.g. there would be limited space on which to place a laptop and work comfortably. In our case, it meant that we could not comfortably keep a kettle and cups, and personal items. The bed itself is the same, and was reasonably comfortable. However, the air conditioning was not working and was not warming the room. The hotel provided a separate heater on request. On several days, there was no hot water for the sink or the shower, which the hotel said was due to a problem with the plumbing. We also noticed an unpleasant smell from the shower drain. The bathroom refurbishment has been nicely done, but not all of the fittings have been correctly assembled. The TV has been changed to a Smart TV, which was a pleasing improvement. The staff were pleasant and always did their best to accommodate our concerns.

We were a party of 4 staying here for a wedding which was about a 20 minute drive away. Hotel was in a good location right next to the centre of the village with plenty of restaurants around. Reception staff were very helpful but did have to man the reception and the bar at the same time. This meant that ordering drinks could take some time. Rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. Small shower room was well set out. Could have done with some sockets next to the mirror as I had to dry my hair from the reflection in the tv. Our room was at the side of the hotel so we had no issues with road noise. Bar/Breakfast area was a good place to meet up or to have a drink at the end of the night. Did not book breakfast but struggled to find somewhere close by that served breakfast. Saturday was market day and this was directly behind the hotel and great to wander around. Never stayed in an IBIS hotel before but for cleanliness and value for money I will probably stay in one again.

Air conditioned room, recently renovated and new. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean, quiet, great location. I’ve stayed in 4* hotels worse than this superb 3* hotel.

We had a good, comfortable stay. We didn't get to try the breakfast as we were visiting family nearby and ate with them, but it looked good. We could get coffees to take away at the bar, which was brilliant - they even had oat milk! Bring some sort of extension lead with you as the plug sockets in the room are no where near the mirror or the beds, so doing your hair is impossible and charging phones is a pain

Arrived 3am after 8 hours of driving with my mate and my room with two single beds(confirmed book) had been given away and was forced to share a double.

We spent 3 nights in the Ibis Etampes to visit family. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. A family member had mobility issues and the accessible bathroom was so useful. Lovely breakfast. Lovely bar to end the night. Very central to Etampes town. Beautiful ancient church overlooking the hotel. Thank you Erwan Jordan and Clarisse for making our stay so pleasant.

This hotel is in a excellent location, close to the train station. It is clean and the continental breakfast offers good variety. The rooms are extremly quiet, even while this hotel is often sold out, which is evident in the early morning with a steady breakfast rush. The hotel team is professional and always helpful. I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Ibis.

Pretty much in town center, next to the train station. Been here for two weeks, the hotel is normally quiet, with some days of very intensive customer traffic. The problem is that when this happens, the very small breakfast room doesn't suffice for a decent, no rush, no pushy service. Always on the breakfast, I've to say that after two weeks, the same selection of food gets very very boring. An hot meal would really make a difference. As for room cleanliness, nothing to complain. In the contrary, towels are changed too often, even when you don't put them on the floor and in spite of the label pushing for the water saving. Just a negative note on the timing, as they are in my opinion, start cleaning rooms too late on the day.
