One of the best patisseries in the world probably. A very hard working chef making fresh pastries daily that finish off every single day! Very delighted to know this place, have enjoyed it many times. ❤️ cannot recommend enough! Must visit when in Marseille!! Super duper like!
After having tried several pastry shops in Marseille, this one still remains our choice for its high quality gourmet sweets. My favorite is their exquisite 'Mille-feuille' as well as their 'Paris brest'. The pastry chef is a true artist. You helped make our Marseille stay special and sweet🤗.
If you find yourself wandering the streets of Marseille, this is a spot you simply cannot miss! From the moment you step inside, the display takes your breath away. Why we loved it: First Impression: We were immediately captivated by the array of tiny, sweet cakes that look like miniature works of art. Aesthetics: Every single dessert is beautifully crafted with such detail that they almost look too good to eat (but trust me, they taste even better!). Atmosphere: A charming little oasis for anyone who appreciates fine sweets and beautiful design. This pastry shop isn't just a quick stop; it's an experience for all the senses. A must-visit if you are in Marseille! 🇫🇷✨
Our genuine appreciation for their wonderful work was immediately evident by our second visit within the same day. We first sampled the Palm Springs, Kyoto, and Bronte, and right away, the quality shone through. The pure delicacy of the creations comes from using top-quality ingredients, masterfully handled by chefs with true skill and passion for their craft. With just one bite, you can tell everything is top-notch, and it leaves you wanting more. A few hours later, we returned and were lucky enough to meet the mastermind and artisan behind the bakery. He is really friendly, and his love for what he does is truly inspiring. This is much more than just food; it's a gourmet experience that you absolutely shouldn't miss, especially if you consider yourself a serious food enthusiast.
I had the Madagascar Flan from this patisserie located near the Old Port in Marseille First of all, this isn't your standard patisserie - everything in here looks super high quality, and large (and more expensive than normal) The flan I had was flavored with Madagascar vanilla, and tasted very nice It's hard to describe what flan tastes like for people who haven't had it. Think of a pie, but instead of a flaky inside it's more like a custard that's present. Whatever it is, the egg-like mixture really came through, and it was the perfect texture - jiggly and soft but not enough to completely fall apart The best part though, was the base. This was crumbly, and added just the perfect textural contrast to the softer flan above it. Eating both of those together in a single bite was truly exceptional. It's a little more expensive than your normal pastry at around 5 euros, but based on the size of the pastry, it's a good deal Overall, I think this was a very good pastry - nothing all-time good but something I quite liked. 8/10
we got the mango mousse cake which was so so good. flavours complemented perfectly and was made with masterful execution store owner was so welcoming and lovely too!! he even gave us a free canele :)
Amazing desserts. Simply can’t be beat. I am a dessert connoisseur, and THIS is what I came to France in search of. So creamy, smooth and delicious. They are so fresh you must eat them within an hour if it’s hot weather outside. A MUST VISIT. We visited from our cruise and I am so glad we did.
Really great desserts right next to our hotel, we tried four different ones each better than the last! Plus we also had breakfast earlier that morning great croissants too!
