What a treat this was. A 4 course lunch that felt more like a 6-7 course epic. The staff, the rooms, the smart decor, and of course the food, the sum of all parts to a great experience. Wow! This place is next level. Possibly the best meal I’ve ever eaten. The food was sensational. And the service impeccable. Each dish was served with amazing choreography by friendly and unpretentious staff that carried themselves with zen-like calm. At times I felt like I was in an episode of Chef’s Table as the beautiful dishes and accompaniments slid in front of me in perfect rhythm from the open kitchen. The wine list was also great with a few unusual Iroleguys among others from the region and beyond. One for a special occasion that will stay with you for a long time.

I spent an Exquisite moment out of time at Choko Ona! that place is one of very few where Cuisine is truly an Art! and Managed at molecular level or close. A amazing modern gastronomic restaurant experience with an open kitchen where you can send a sneaky look to see Chef Clement doing his magic! What impressed me the most is how open and friendly was that experience, from the open kitchen, to the discussions with the staff on how the dishes are made ... you feels like sharing the secret of the recipe. The place is a nice typical house in such an iconic basque village, but here the impression come from the plates - and generous ones considering the level of perfection of what is serve to you! Wines and all beverages are just perfect match and surprisingly inexpensive. Can't wait my next visit

Excellent in every single regard— an unforgettable experience. This restaurant punches well above its weight and rivals almost any restaurant I’ve ever eaten at across the world. Unbelievable service and ambiance and simply exquisite cooking with a masterful wine pairing. Without a doubt one of the very best restaurants France has to offer.

Second time that we visited. If we didn't live 1600 km away, I'd go every month. Looking forward to next year. Well worth a detour! Shout out to Tobias, who gave us the tip. UPDATE: Third visit, as gorgeous as ever, our favourite restaurant in the world.

Fine and modern dining at its best. All ingredients are fresh and the flavours jump off the plate. The wine accompaniment is exquisite. I can't recommend this restaurant enough!
