This restaurant was highly recommended by my favorite lunch spot in Contés, so I made a dinner reservation. The food was amazing, the service excellent, and my only regret was that I didn’t have room for dessert. I must visit again!

What an incredible dining experience. We were staying close by in a town called Blausasc (25 minute ride from Nice) but would certainly visit even if staying in Nice. This restaurant is a treasure- situated on top of a small hill with a beautiful terrace and absolutely brilliant view at sunset. We arrived early and quickly felt the small town French charm when we were greeted by the owner. There was a misunderstanding in the reservation time but he turned what could have been a disappointing welcome into an enchanting one by sharing a little bit about the town and recommending we stroll along the streets that were home to many generations of his family. We strolled the small town, experiencing the charm. Dinner was great - the service was delightful, we tried speaking French- our waiter did his best at English and together, made for an incredible evening of food, drinks and company. Food was fresh, delicious and the kids loved the little playground at the end of the restaurant. Highly highly recommend- merci beaucoup.

Extraordinary food, service, and restaurant. Magical to dine here. Rotating menu with seasonal local ingredients, including house made drinks (beer, gin, pastis) and olive oil. Generational restaurant within a building that is hundreds of years old. Vegetarian friendly. Desserts are superb.

We were looking for lunch & spotted this charming restaurant. Reservations usually needed but they had one table for two we were fortunate to get. The Aubergine confit was the best eggplant I have ever eaten, paired with lemon infusion, ricotta & a crumble garnish. Mr K enjoyed his Boeuf Daube also. The Salade Moulin was generous & varied, cucumber, radish, olives, sun-dried tomatoes & more. A sunny day & hazy Provençal hills were a stunning backdrop. Highly recommend.

location, food and service exceptional!! We dined here in a summer evening and thanks to the “high”location gave us a bit of rest from the hotness of the city, both the fish and the meat were amazing along with the waiters than even speaking little English helped us on the choices, at the end of the night the owner shows us the mill downstairs and explained the history of the place. Very recommend place!!! We also drunk a fantastic white wine by the glass (on the whit bottle the were the line forming a women) that I would really much know the name.

I enjoyed the food, however all on the menu was very "heavy" for a summer day. Excellent service. Excellent place.

We were warmly greeted by Bastian as we arrived at noon. He gave us an introduction to his concept of locally sourced ingredients and we went for the three course menu. We were there with our toddler and she was treated like a princess. They had a seat for her and a little playhouse. They even prepared a special meal for her which she loved. We rarely had such a peaceful lunch with our child. We felt so welcome and taken care of that we promptly made a reservation for the next day. The food is without a doubt delicious. Probably the best lasagna I’ve had in years. I devoured the dessert that I forgot to take a picture. I wish Bastian and his friendly team all the best with this new restaurant. It certainly is a gem of Blausasc.
