The item i wanted was significantly cheaper than thw same reference in mr bricolage balaruc, even including the extra fuel cost foe a slightly longer jpurney. What i like particularly about all mr bricolage shops is that there are always plenty of staff for assistance, unlike castorama where it's very difficult to find anyone.

We bought a glue pen at this store, however it was not as effective as the pictures on the box led us to believe. We tried to return the item (3 days later, with all the documentation) but were refused, firmly and not very politely. When I left the store I was annoyed but, on reflection, this turned to sadness. Whatever the merits of our case for product return, we were dissatisfied customers. The online retailers seem to understand this and offer more generous return conditions. Local retailers will decline in the face of the greater range and better prices available online, the one advantage of local is knowledge, assistance and service. Without this there is no justification in providing support for local shops.
