3 stars but that’s only because the staff were friendly and helpful |This hotel has the potential to be amazing, the grounds they have and location is perfect they even have bikes to use for free! The room was clean and after seeing the state of the hotel driving through I was dubious, I felt like I was in an abandoned hotel the reception should be at the front not the side. it’s very run down it all needs really freshening up with a lick of paint and cleaning up, the staff clearly do a good job but the money is not getting invested back in which is a real shame, we still had an amazing time because of the positives, we will return to port Grimaud again and it would be great to come back to a more invested hotel

So we went for a 50th and 40th celebration. For the price I paid I feel it was good valve, the food was good and service was good. Out of the 9 rooms, ours was the only one that smelt. Tbh I didn’t complain but should have. The thing I’m very unhappy about is that I left me trainers in the room, I called a few hours later and they say they can’t find them. So someone has stolen them which I’m not happy about. I’ve emailed the hotel and they haven’t responded at all.

My stay here was very nice. The grounds are beautiful. The rooms are very large and had lots of sunlight. Yves the front desk was excellent. He was so kind and went out of his way to help with all the questions I had. He’s very knowledgeable and very nice! The breakfast buffet was very tasty and had lots of variety.

My husband and I were extremely pleased with our stay at the Sowell Hotel at Port Grimaud. The staff were very friendly and the room was very comfortable. The catering was excellent. We would definitely consider staying there again.

Stayed here for 4 nights and what a big mistake! It was awful staff were rude and not friendly at all. Paid for all inclusive but drinks are limited through the day to just beer and wine. Evening bar served watered down cocktails. The pool was the worst …..|Filthy dirty sun beds |No drinks |No food |No music |No entertainment |The whole hotel is in desperate need of re decorating! Would never stay here again or recommend it to friends and family. Please avoid if you want a happy holiday it was miserable place to stay. How it’s rated a 4* is beyond me

Really nice hotel and also clean, the food was very good with lots of options throughout the day.the staff really made that hotel expecially Mikhail he was very welcoming,polite always had a smile on his face and always made the effort to come and see how we was and how our day was.

Room2011 stayed for 1 night business and leisure booked personally to avoid any problems with agencies and we had a great time with the staff very nice and comprehensive! Missed things in the room but reactiveness and execution on point! Congrats to reception staff! And will come again since improvements are noticeable and great!

My husband and I would like to thank the staff of Sowell Hotel Saint Tropez, especially Laura and Emma ( from the reception dept ) for being so accommodating, attentive and for being so helpful. We are truly satisfied with the service, from the staff, rooms, and even with the breakfast spread and the lunch box that you can take wiith you for a picnic ( you can choose whatever you want to take from the buffet spread ). The room is spacious, the shower is functioning very well. The housekeeping staff is so attentive and friendly. The swimming pool is big and there are lots of reclining seats around it. If you take the semi or full pension, the drinks is free anytime of the day or night in the restaurant. I might miss to mention other good things from the hotel but what I and my husband could truly vouch for is that we had a tremendously happy and satisfied experience during our stay in Sowell Hotel Saint Tropez. If there is a small downside of our stay, it would only have to be the wifi service, which sometimes was intermitttent, but that's it! Thank you so very much and we will come back for sure! Mottier
