A really nice atmosphere and really good food and experience. We ordered the Zucchini blossom and Crab appetizers and both were very good. The main dishes were the roasted pigeon and sea bass and both were very good. Finally we shared a souffle for dessert and it rounded out a great night and experience. The service and staff were all involved in key times throughout the dinner and were all outstanding and very friendly. When we return to Nice we would love to eat here again.
A wonderful lunch experience in Nice. The food was excellent from start to finish. Each dish was beautifully presented and thoughtfully prepared. The zucchini flower starter was delicate and elegant, the cod was perfectly cooked and flaky, and the soufflé dessert was absolutely superb—light, airy, and a perfect ending to the meal. The duck breast was particularly flavorful, paired with an excellent sauce and accompaniments. It was slightly tougher to chew than I would have preferred, but the taste was outstanding. The only other minor criticism is that the cod was a bit oversalted for my palate, which slightly overshadowed the natural sweetness of the fish. A special mention goes to the lovely waitress, who was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming throughout the meal. She even treated us to a shot of the restaurant’s homemade passion fruit rum. It was incredibly strong, but also a fun and memorable touch that added personality to the experience. Overall, a refined and enjoyable dining experience with beautiful presentation, excellent flavors, and wonderful hospitality. I would happily return and recommend it to anyone visiting Nice.
We showed up on a Thursday noon without reservation but luckily they were able to seat us out outside on the sidewalk tables which were very charming - especially with the nice weather in May. We had a bumpy start with the entrees the Mousseline de courgettes fleurs (Zucchini blossom mousseline) and Sablé breton de parmesan (Breton parmesan shortbread) just did not hit the right note with us as nothing stood out taste-wise. But then the main courses arrived and they were divine. The French beef cheek stew (Daube de joues de bœuf française) was easily the best thing my tastebuds had tried the whole week we spent exploring Cote d'Azur. The stew arrived in a polenta cloud which tasted out of this world too. I've never tasted polenta with a texture like that. And the little pieces of vegetables swimming in this cloud were so full of tastes - amazing! The Roasted sea bream fillet (Filet de daurade rôti) was very tasty as well. The ravioli stuffed with artichoke leaves (ravioles et feuilles d’artichauts breton farcies) which were on the side made the whole dish special. Together with the fish, they created an entirely new taste perspective - well recommended. When it came time for desert, we tried the Warm dark chocolate tart (Tarte tiède au chocolat noir) which we found to be so-so but the Soufflé au grand Marnier accompanied by sorbet from exotic fruits tasted amazing. Throughout the whole this time, the service was super attentive and they went out of their way to oblige us when we shared we only had 45min to complete the whole lunch as we had a plane to catch. Awesome work guys, respect! All in all, Les Sens is a well recommended culinary experience when you are visiting Nice. I wish there was an extra star to give to these special restaurants that make your entire vacation a memorable experience.
We had a really great experience at Les Sens. The lunch menu is phenomenal value for the price. 28 euros for 3 courses. The food was all really good quality and delicious. Service was good. Busy restaurant with a buzzy atmosphere.
A fantastic dinner! We had the "Menu Moment" which was very delicious and of high quality. We loved the food and the Lemon Souffle was the perfect finish. The combination of dishes was very well thought out, the service was attentive, and the atmosphere was exceptional, for me, one of the best overall experiences. We'll definitely be back! Definitely worth a visit.
An amazing resteraunt in the heart of Nice. We had a set menu (menu of the week) and it did not disappoint. The food looked amazing and tasted delicious. Could not fault the service. All the staff were friendly and professional. Booking is essential. My only critique is that as it's only open for a few hours in the evening it did feel very rushed between courses so did not really have time to relax between each plate, this is just my opinion and it would not put me off coming again.
We had a cheese plate and a set menu, with asparagus shortbread, sea beamer and grand marnier soufflé. Everything was good. Only the signature desert was out of my taste, I did not like the smell of eggs. We also enjoyed a glass of cabarnet franc.
We had dinner here and overall it was a very pleasant experience. We ordered two starters, one main course, and a dessert, which made for a nicely paced and enjoyable meal. Both starters were good, but the crab appetizer was especially delicious. The service was great as well.
