Great experience to have lunch here with the family on the way home from the cote d’azir to Eijsden. Locally made written all over it! Great service. Not your average mcd stop along the highway but a decent 3 course lunch and cheese platter for 19 euro pp which you will remember for years!

While waiting for our Tesla to supercharge, we accidentally stumbled upon this little restaurant. It’s a classic French countryside eatery, seemingly family-run, with most of the guests being local residents. To our surprise, both the flavor and the price were amazing— for around €18, you get a buffet starter, a main dish, a cheese platter, wine or rosé, dessert, and even coffee! Although we weren’t locals, the friendly and welcoming vibe from everyone made us feel at home. We truly enjoyed the entire dining experience. This is authentic French dining— it’s popular among locals, and the staff is quite busy, so the meal takes its time, roughly two hours. If you’re not in a rush and are willing to slow down, this lunch will be absolutely worth it.

Solid food. Fresh, good ingredients. Friendly. 4 course meal for €19. That is not a misprint!! Obviously don’t expect fine dining. But a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
