Catherine's hospitality was unexpectedly warm. We were delayed in arriving to Nice and then delayed at the Hertz car rental in the airport (will never rent Hertz again). We arrived almost at midnight. Catherine and her husband accommodated us without any issues and suggested restaurants that are open late. ||We had a a huge suite with the best ever view you can imagine, place to park our car for free, most delicious breakfast in an idyllic terrace setting. The view - I have no words to describe. ||Catherine recommended places to visit around, directions for taking the bus, restaurants in the area, etc. ||We loved every minute of our stay. I traveled with my 18 year old daughter and she is not that easy to please. But she could NOT stop talking about how much she enjoyed staying here and how wonderful everything was. I totally agree with her!!!!

We had a wonderful stay at Les Terrasses du Soleil. Catherine and Patrick are friendly, helpful, and gracious hosts. It is a beautiful setting and the historic characteristics of the house are preserved while the accommodations are modern, clean and function great. I loved waking up to the sunrise and seeing a pale wash of pink and gold grow across the light blue sky and sea. Breakfast on the patio was a delight. |The location at the Haut-de-Cagnes is enchanting and there are several very good restaurants close-by that we walked to. So, we did not need to drive to dinner which after a day out touring was a relief. That said, there is also a shuttle bus that comes through the village and can take you down the hill into town or the train station to get to Nice and other locations. |Parking in front of the B&B is very limited. Fortunately, the Bouvets have a place to park nearby and that is a big help.|I would love to stay here again!|

Loved it here, the rooms were very clean and we had fresh towels and room tidied and cleaned up every day, we were at the top of a hill so the views were lovely. We had a good selection for breakfast, plus there was a something home made and different every day for eg coffee creme, pineapple crumble. We were helped with getting around and shown how to get to our destination, it was a nice personal touch and I'd definitely go back if we ever go to South France again

Les Terrasses is a wonderful place and my husband and I really enjoyed our stay there in May. We stayed here while we attended the Formula 1 races in Monte Carlo. Cagnes-sur-Mer allows you to be close enough to all the activities in Nice without being in the middle of a large city. The inn’s building is very old but has been beautifully restored by the owners. The hilltop neighborhood is quiet and we felt very safe there. We stayed in the Betty room at the top of the stairs - it is a lovely room! It has a large bedroom/sitting area and an equally large bathroom which was beautifully appointed. This room has a huge terrace which faces the front of the home with comfy furniture and flowering plants. There’s also a small balcony off the bathroom from which you can see the sea. Our room was tastefully decorated with a very comfortable bed and pillows, a small desk and even a mini-refrigerator with bottled water and glasses and cookies; the rooms also had a large closet and a safe box. The bathroom was huge and had a soaking tub, separate shower with loads of hot water and a separate toilet room. And the rooms were immaculate, which I really appreciated. It was very enjoyable to sit on the large terrace and have a bite to eat and a glass of wine, and watch the world go by in this quiet little neighborhood. Our hosts, Catherine and Patrick, were wonderful and made us feel so welcome and comfortable. They were so very helpful, giving us advice on getting around Cagnes-sur-Mer and driving down the coast to Antibes, how to get to the train station, giving us recommendations for the nearby restaurants, and graciously safeguarding our parking space in front of the inn. Breakfasts were served on the back terrace with views of their beautiful gardens and of course out towards the sea. We really enjoyed being able to sit there and enjoy our delicious breakfast and watch and listen to all the birds flitting around in the trees. The inn is within a short walk of the Grimaldi Castl

A beautiful setting and great accommodation. Breakfast is taken on the lovely terrace overlooking Cagnes sur Mer and the Mediterranean. Catherine is a wonderful host, serving delicious, healthy breakfasts every day and suggesting good tourist spots to visit with guidance on how to get there. The rooms are spotlessly clean and well equipped. We were made to feel very welcome.

Staying at Les Terrasses du Soleil B&B, we experienced the height of hospitality. Catherine graciously hosted us there for six wonderful days. Her glad-to-see-us greeting was just a hint of how welcomed she made us feel during our entire visit.||||Not only did she see to it that our accommodation, the bright and comfy Betty Room, was kept spotless and daily stocked with water and goodies, she even did some ironing for us. We had plenty of storage space, a huge ensuite bathroom and, best of all, an expansive terrace where we could lounge amidst colorful potted plantings. One evening Catherine brought us home brewed aperitifs to enjoy there - just lovely. ||||Breakfast was exceptional in a beautiful setting with many delicious choices including our host's yummy baked specialties which she varied each morning. After savoring this fare, we were given much appreciated advice about best attractions and activities and how to get there most conveniently. After coming "home" from each day of touring, it was so convenient to walk to nearby restaurants Catherine recommended. In the atmospheric square bordering the Grimaldi Chateau (where outdoor summer evening concerts are held), Jimmy's is great for pizza, but our favorite by far for fine dining is nearby Le Perousin. || ||We loved being in the charming hilltop village of Haut de Cagnes, a short distance above the busier town of Cagnes sur Mer. A free shuttle stops in front of the B&B every 20 minutes (until midnight) and makes the very short loop between village and town. It dropped us right at the Square Bourdet depot where we could hop on buses going to many French Riviera destinations. Our best pleasure, though, was returning to Haut de Cagnes with its quaint old streets, flower-bedecked residences and views of sea and mountains. If you like to walk, we recommend going on foot down to Renoir's historic home and studio - worth the trek but maybe take the shuttle back upward.||||The B&B owners offer free parking spaces

Beautiful. For some reason someone gave this place 4 stars at some time, I would really be interested in understanding why. Lovely location, quiet area, personable hosts and a very historically rich house and room (gout de miel suite) plus a beautiful long weekend on the riviera and the terrace for Mediterranean breakfast which I had the privilege to enjoy in absolute peace for the full duration of my stay. Good weather all three days. What more would you want from life?

We selected Les Terrasses before we left Florida for our trip to France. It was our last stop before returning to the U. S., and it was superb! Our host made dinner reservations for us just steps away for a birthday celebration. We were greeted warmly when we arrived and were shown to the "Betty" room in this historic home owned by one of France's famed composers. There was a balcony off the large bath offering a view of the Mediterranean. The large terrace off the bedroom provided a view of the castle, and surrounding area. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh fruit, a special delight and, of course croissant, bread and superb coffee. They made room for us to park our car, and we didn't use it for 3 days. We took advantage of the free bus transportation down to the market or to the sea. It was a great experience.
