The view is stunning! One of the best views of the city! We had sushi it was really good and the edamame’s and the guacamole were incredible! Really good cocktails as well. We had a rsvp and the hostess sat us at the bar for over 30min and they kept on sitting other people, that’s was the only thing that made the experience a bit uncomfortable.

We’ve been to a few Seen locations and this was definitely one of the less attentive experiences in terms of service. We often found ourselves needing to flag staff down rather than them checking in, and my final drink order never arrived, so we eventually just paid and left. That said, the food really delivered. The sushi was fantastic: fresh, flavourful, and genuinely delicious. The setting and atmosphere are still great, and while the service could be more attentive, the quality of the food meant we still had a very enjoyable evening overall.

We have been to Seen by Olivier at the Plaza several times before, but unfortunately this time we had a very disappointing experience, especially considering it was meant to be a festive lunch. First of all, the oysters were served without butter, and the sauces came without spoons. It took around 15 minutes to get the waiter’s attention, as he seemed very busy. On top of that, the lemon served with the oysters looked unwashed and still had a sticker on it, which was shocking to see in a place of this level. When the main dishes arrived, again there were problems. The men ordered a dish for two – meat to share – but again, the sauces came without spoons. On top of that, the meat was not cooked to the requested doneness, which was very disappointing. I ordered meat with a side dish, but the side was never served. When I finally asked the waiter, he simply told me the side dish would come later. To make matters worse, when the wine was served, one of the glasses had something dirty in it. We had to ask the waiter to change it, which was very unpleasant — whether it came from the glass itself or the bottle, it should never happen in such a restaurant. Overall, for a restaurant that is considered one of the more expensive in Nice, the level of service was far below expectations. We left very disappointed. I would be happy to share photos from this lunch as well.

I made a reservation through the restaurant’s booking link, but there was no option to specify whether the reservation was for dining or just drinks. I simply completed the booking as instructed. When we arrived, we informed the hostess that we were there for cocktails only. She told us that reservations were intended for the restaurant area, and I explained that their booking system did not clearly specify this. She said she would check with the staff and get back to us, but instead left us waiting for quite a while without any clear communication. Eventually, another staff member approached us and said she had found a table for us. However, the table was located in a corner and the seating was quite uncomfortable, with no proper back support. We politely asked whether it would be possible to move to another available table with regular chairs. Once again, we were told that someone would check, and once again we were left waiting for an unreasonable amount of time. At that point, we decided to leave. As we were heading toward the exit, the first hostess approached us and asked, seemingly surprised, why we were leaving. I explained that the table offered was not suitable for us and that we simply wanted a comfortable place where we could relax and enjoy our cocktails. I also asked whether it would be possible to bring a few extra chairs so that we could move to another table. She immediately replied that there were no chairs available. We thanked her and said we would leave. Strangely, the very next moment she changed her response and said that she could, in fact, find the chairs. Then another waiter suddenly appeared and informed us that the table was reserved, at which point the hostess simply apologized and said they were sorry. The entire situation could have been avoided from the beginning with honest and straightforward communication. If there were no suitable tables available, we would have completely understood. Instead, we were repeatedly left waiting

Super Christmas Day Brunch, Laurent Perrier champagne, very good sushi, beautiful monkfish, great dessert selection . One big failing - don’t offer non-alcoholic sparkling wine, need to address that.

Elina was a wonderful server!! We enjoyed our meals at the Anantara Hotel rooftop restaurant. What a view. Super friendly staff (Julia), very helpful with recommendations for things to see in Nice

We had booked a table for two at Seen, and although the terrace was fully booked, Giacomo went above and beyond to secure us a spot outside. The ambiance was perfect, the food was absolutely delicious, and the crème brûlée was out of this world. A truly memorable dining experience!

5.0 Vishka Correya

This place has picturesque views, good food and friendly staff. We were a large group and the staff tended to our every need. Make a reservation and make sure you order the beef gyozas!
