So disappointing finding out (from locals) that the rock has been removed to create a little stand up point of view for the landscape. The story of this rock 🪨 is touching so many women 🫶🏻 Anyway the view on Cilaos was incredible! And you can read a bit of Cilaos’ slavery history, how rich people were transported through the narrows roards, how the slaves were escaping… interesting!
Lovely view over the city and the cirque of Cilaos. Accessible via the road or via a beautiful 1 hour hike through the woods.
A really nice lookout over Cilaos. During nighttime also a great spot to see the amazing stars ( including the Milky Way)

Short climb on the stairs that leads you to the possibly greatest view over the Cirque of Cilaos: mountains on both sides, ravine in the middle as well as the town at the bottom. A picturesque place.
