Château Eza completely lived up to the hype—honestly, it exceeded my expectations in every way. Up high on a rocky cliff with views over the Mediterranean, it felt like a private hideaway. It blends into the village with total seclusion and luxury. The views from the terraces, restaurant, and rooms are spectacular. Sunset here is unforgettable. Our room featured exposed stone walls, a luxurious bathroom, and a private balcony overlooking the Riviera. It felt romantic, timeless, and incredibly comfortable. The service was impeccable, attentive without being intrusive. Highly recommend.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights; the location is priceless the views were out of this world. our room was fantastic with a view of the mountains and the sea, the room was clean and 5-star amenities, the bedding and the pillows were so comfy. the staff was so helpful and professional, and we couldn't ask for a better stay. it was our anniversary and they had a cake waiting for us inside our room. so thoughtful. there are 14 rooms and I'm sure everyone has its own charm. If you have issues with walking this hotel will not work for you, it's at the top of a hill with a lot of steps and climbing but if you are in good shape this hotel is not to miss. the village is wonderful with shops and spots to grab lunch, drinks etc. so unique and picture perfect.

This hotel is beautiful but up on the hill. But car cannot drive to hotel entrance. There is a car valet service at the entrance of the road. Thank God for the two great porters that helped to carry our luggages up to our rooms. Great room with spectacular view and a sauna pool overlooking the hills. Dinner at the restaurant in this hotel is amazing!!! Must try, very romantic and food is delicious, server is attentive.

Château Eza is truly a magical place. My clients recently stayed at this exceptional hotel and were absolutely delighted with every aspect of their experience. From the moment they arrived, they were impressed by the outstanding service, attention to detail, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The hotel is located in an absolutely fairytale-like setting, high above the Mediterranean, offering breathtaking views that make the stay feel unforgettable. The cuisine is also remarkable — refined, high-quality, and beautifully presented, making every meal a special experience. My clients discovered this wonderful hotel during their trip while they were taking one of our guided tours. After their stay, they couldn’t stop sharing how impressed they were with everything — the service, the location, and the incredible dining. I highly recommend Château Eza to anyone who wants to spend time in a truly enchanting place. If you are looking for a unique and memorable stay on the French Riviera, this hotel is an excellent choice.

Stopped at the Château Eza terrace for a coffee and Kir Royale ☕🥂 — absolutely stunning views over the Mediterranean 🌊 and a flawless atmosphere. Even if you’re not staying for a full meal, it’s a 10/10 spot to pause for a drink while visiting Èze. Highly recommended ✨

This one-star restaurant (hotel also holds a Michelin key), perched in the medieval village of Èze, proved memorable for its extraordinary setting and thoughtful service. Location Nestled along Rue de la Pise in the heart of Èze Village, the restaurant commands one of the French Riviera's most dramatic vistas. The terrace and dining room overlook the Mediterranean Sea from a cliffside perch high above the coastline, creating a sense of being suspended between sky and azure waters. A table at the edge delivers breathtaking panoramic views that shift beautifully with the light—ideal for a romantic special occasion or a quiet, reflective solo meal. The seaside elevation feels perfectly suited to the menu's frequent seafood elements, enhancing the natural harmony of place and plate. Dining Chef Justin Schmitt's offerings draw on refined French and Mediterranean traditions with modern, creative flourishes and precise execution—elegant plating, seasonal ingredients, and a savory classic foundation. Seafood features prominently, aligning well with the coastal setting, and dishes are flavorful and technically sound at one-star level. While delicious overall, the creativity in some preparations felt hit-or-miss for my taste; I lean toward straightforward classic French profiles, so deviations that introduce unexpected elements were less impressive compared to more purely traditional benchmarks such as Robuchon restaurants. The food supported the experience solidly without stealing the spotlight from the surroundings. Service Service stood out as genuinely accommodating and professional. Despite my last-minute reservation request—driven by a strong desire to capture the iconic view—they secured a spot without issue. When my guest fell ill that afternoon and couldn't join, the team flexibly adjusted to seat me solo, ensuring the evening remained unrushed and enjoyable. This flexibility allowed me to focus entirely on savoring the meal and the transcendent panorama, free fro

beautiful dining experience, but not above and beyond as one might expect from a Michelin rated restaurant. as others mention, they are remarkably stingy with the bread and butter, and water was charged. the wine selection was also surprisingly lacking, at least for drinks on the terrace. overall, friendly and accommodating staff.

It's hard to put into words how wonderful our experience was at Chateau Eza. Service was faultless, beyond all expectation, even for a 5* hotel. When we initially asked if we could have a table on the terrace for a drink, we were told they were busy, but to come back in an hour or so. The gentleman who welcomed us did so warmly, happily spoke in French with me, and made us feel at ease straight away. When we returned, another gentleman again spoke with me in French, and told us a table should be free in 15 - 20 minutes, if we were happy to wait. We were welcomed into a lovely indoor space adjacent to the terrace whilst we waited. When a table on the terrace became available, we were blown away - facing out to sea, soaring views, hard to put into words. We had a beer and a cup of tea and relaxed for an hour. It was just perfect. The drinks prices were more than reasonable. We left a 20% tip - something I've never done before - as everything was just perfect. Thank you to the wonderful staff at Chateau Eza for contributing to the last day of our holiday being so special.
