We booked a canyoning trip with Haute-Provence Outdoor. Very flexible in how to make a reservation. Good information upfront, all very clear. All staff speaking English and very, very friendly. Excellent equipment. Well worth the investment. Although we took the discovery (beginner’s tour), our guide made it special for the more daring ones to allow them an 11 meter cliff jump during the trip. Good level if you have little or no canyoning experience. Doable for everyone with a reasonable condition and little fear of heights and/or moving through small spaces. Guide will help you find alternative ways if you ‘get stuck’. Intense way of experiencing the best of nature.

We had a great time Aqua Trekking w Nino. He made it fun but was also safety conscious. We had initially planned to raft but due to dam closure and water level that wasn’t available, HPO gave me the option to switch to aqua trekking or cancel. We had no idea what aqua trekking really was but we all enjoyed it! It was my husband and I and our 3 teenage kids.

We are a family of four with the youngest just 10. So I wasn't sure what to expect when we arrived at Haut Jabron to go canyoning. I had no concerns as our guide, Marine, was excellent and really looked after the kids. Soon they were sliding through the gorge and jumping off high rocks into deep blue pools. We were given all the necessary equipment and advised to bring good sneakers. This is definitely recommended as there is a trek into to gorge and some parts inside are slippy. At the end we had an optional opportunity to climb some more and abseil down a cliff face. It gets the adrenaline going but definitely worth it. If you get the opportunity, go canyoning with HPO. It's an unforgettable experience for all the family.

This was the highlight of our trip to France. We went Canyoning - La Clue de St-Auban. Marine was our guide and she was great, made us feel super comfortable and safe. The trip was the perfect length, not too short but not too long. It was the perfect day activity to break up our trip to Nice. Highly recommend it.

We had a great first canyoning experience with Michael at the Saint-Auban route. He was a very friendly, careful and helpful guide. The canyoning route had various cool things, like a zip line, jumping and abseiling. We are already thinking of going a second time this vacation, because we liked it so much! :-)

What a lovely moment we had exploring Castillon lake with Quentin, it was one of the best moment of our holidays, escaping from the crowded place, we were completely alone and learned some cliff jumping tricks we will never forget :) thank you HPO for your professionalism and good vibes on the water ! For sure we will be back next year !

Hi! Today, 18th September'25 we had a very exciting and joyful rafting ride with our guides Nino and Eric! After being well instructed and equipped with wetsuit, helmet, lifejackets and paddle we started at the campsite and had an entertaining ride for 2h with a group of 8 kind people plus our guide Eric. We made stops to swim with the current and to jump into the stream. Really enjoyable and to recommend! Thanks for this great experience. Best regards, Olav

An unforgettable and life changing experience with our guide Nino! The activity was adapted to our comfort and we felt very safe and guided throughout the experience. Our guide not only gave us an experience of a lifetime but also explained various facts about the Gorges du Verdon which made the visit much more interesting! I highly recommend this couloir Samson for anyone who is up for an adrenaline rush :)
