Beautiful lunch, beautiful setting. we had the menu de jour and each course was lovely. I forgot to take photos of the other courses as I was too excited to eat them! €18.50 was very good value! The staff were excellent and very good with my 2yr old son.
Great resto. Highly recommend. Great location, great service, great food.
A wonderful experience eating at Restaurant L’Ecluse today. We were allowed to take our two dogs in and were seated with a stunning view of the river close by. The staff serving there were so kind and helpful. The food was absolutely magnificent. The lamb shanks in particular was cooked to perfection. I can’t think of anything negatively critical to say about this place. We are in France for just under two weeks more and I can only hope that we’re able to come back and frequent it again. A five star experience from start to finish.
A beautiful restaurant ( quite romantic) overlooking La Siagne river. The food is delicious & generous. The menu has a nice but limited choices. The personnel & manager were very kind & accommodated us despite the fact that the restaurant was packed & our reservation was not confirmed. Price is rather on the high scale. An important tip shared by the personnel not to rely on the online reservation & always call!
Absolutely lovely setting right on the river, but overall a let down if you are going for a standard meal (however from the look of the apéro board that some other tables ordered this might be a good choice). My starter was "forgotten" but when eventually served, over 5 minutes after the rest of our table had been served theirs, it was a half portion of the tuna tataki compared to the portions of my fellow diners - "they had run out..." Was the glib answer from the waitress. The lamb cutlets were over cooked (medium rather than rate) and certainly well over priced. The stake tartar was tasteless, and probably prepared in a mixer as it was without any texture, like eating baby food - I left most of it and when the waitress came collect the plates she seemed totally ambitious to the satisfaction of her clients. Finally be aware that parking close to the restaurant is extremely difficult.
Delightful restaurant along the river with phenomenal food and very friendly service. I loved my beef ravioli and my husband had the lunch of the day option with an appetizer (or dessert) and entree. The real treat was the small hike you can take along the river afterwards that leads up to the small town of Auribeau sur Siagne. Everything was closed as it was the middle of the day, but it was such a lovely walk around with fantastic views.
We were to families who dined here. The food was excellent as well as the surroundings. This is not a typical tourist place, but one of the waiters could a little English. The price is also affordable. Therefore, I can highly recommend this place.
Have wanted to visit L'Ecluse for a while now and very glad we finally made it. Excellent and friendly service, great food and the location is fantastic.
