We had a great experience with Andrea as our tour guide. She is very knowledgeable and shared great insight, history, and interesting side stories of the events of D-Day. Ours was an all day tour, hitting the highlights of the American experience of this fateful day. We stopped for a nice lunch and then headed on to the rest of our tour. Andrea was able to answer our questions, share photos of the actual events, and we had meaningful conversations about the impact on history and future generations. As somber as the sights were, Andrea made it a very meaningful experience. We highly recommend Andrea and the museum tour.

We took a full day trip to the American Sector beaches , we had a great tour with our Memorial guide, Alena. She was so knowledgeable and helped us understand the whole over view of the war and the significant aspects of the different beaches. We had a wonderful driver who kept us safe and our tour guide was able to answer questions and start the tour during the drive… we had a great time and we would totally do it again! We did the beaches ourselves on the 80th anniversary and we were not sure where to go, where to park and what we were looking at. .. having a guide we saw so much more and we learned so much!

Very nice museum, a lot of space and what I liked is, that they have a lot of original artefacts from a tank, uniforms, newspapers to medkita or coffee cans and Japanese war flag there. Veyry nice staff ale great gift shop. Don't forget to see the bunker in the lower part!

I think everyone should visit this place. The message and the way they tell it was spot on. And with the going down of the sun, we will remember them. This memorial does that so well, at a time when the world seems to be forgetting it.

I am amazed at the amount of information our tour guide had. He talked to us for the entire tour-driving and once we arrived-and gave us so much information and history. The museum itself had so many interesting artifacts and information. If you can go on this tour and have Mario as your guide and Sebastian as your driver-I promise you will be so happy you went.

Excellent museum which is very well laid out and has a huge number of interesting exhibits and immersive films to watch. I only had one day in Caen and unfortunately ran out of time to explore despite having 3 hours here. The audio guide is excellent. The cafe also has a great selection of food and drinks so is good to stop off for a break

Great museum that covers all aspects leading up to the war and through it. Tons of unique artifacts. Was a great, somber history lesson.

Loved all the history, displays and the visit to the bunker. There are also beautiful memorial gardens which are worth a visit.
