DOMAINE D'ERCEVILLE

Adored our wedding and everything about it! The owners communicate well and promptly. They offer everything on site like tables, chairs, the beautiful tent, etc for rent. Also they provide a strong list of vendors to choose from, or allow you to use your own (particular shout out to Nas & Co Coordinators, Steph and Karol, as well as our brilliant caterers, Abeille Traiteur). We were also kindly allowed to stay an extra day on the Sunday. They speak great English, which was very helpful for people like us with (sadly) very bad french! For guests coming from overseas, it was conveniently located to drive from Paris airport, or to get a connecting train to Sens from those taking the Eurostar. They let us go really overboard and even do things like have a jumping castle and paddling pools for kids for Sunday brunch. Thank you Christian and Jean-Marie for a gorgeous weekend! We are so glad we had our wedding with you and would do so again! Hope to stay with you in the future for our anniversary or a holiday :) NOTE: Our only advice/feedback is that if you choose to also rent the gite out the back (Ferme Les Rosseaux) to add capacity to host guests, make sure to confirm that the 10 minute walking path between them is clear, to ensure guests are still "on site". This additional capacity was a key reason we chose Chateau Sereville. However, when we arrived at the venue, the path had not been cleared after trees fell on it during winter, making it unusable. We were told that we or our planner should have confirmed a week or 2 ahead of the event that we needed to use it, which we were never told. Instead, we relied on the multiple assurances during advertisement and sale of the venue (both verbally and in writing) that it would be available. It put the guests that we were hosting in the Gite in a difficult position last minute, after we had assured them that they had onsite accommodation (couples with small children, and parents with health conditions). J'ai découvert le Château de Séréville lors d'un mariage en tant que photographe. Niché dans un cadre pittoresque, ce château offre une très belle toile de fond pour capturer l'amour et la romance. Avec ses magnifiques jardins et ses intérieurs élégants, chaque coin est une opportunité de créer des souvenirs magiques.

Un lieu hors du temps, en pleine campagne, à 15 minutes de Sens. L'accès n'est pas si difficile que prévu : l'établissement est bien localisé sur Google Maps. Le château a beaucoup de cachet, et la partie extérieure, avec le petit lac, est superbe. On apprécie également le grand parking à l'entrée. Un établissement qui se prête bien aux mariages.

Beau château, dans une certaine tendance royaliste, et surtout très beau domaine avec une forêt dense, un étang, Acceuillant et magnifique pour des évènements tel que mariage ou autre.

Merci Séréville - notre mariage fut à l'image de ce que nous avions rêvé. La magie des lieux opéra dès notre première visite - nous cherchions un lieu inspiré par l'élégance et la sobriété - après quelques visites un peu "baroques", nous avons découvert le Château de Séréville, un vrai coup de coeur. Nous avons découvert ces propriétaires, les chevaux, cette incroyable nature qui environne le Château, nous avons craqué pour son magnifique chapiteau au ciel étoilé. Tout fut absolument parfait, le soleil était au rendez-vous, le feu d'artifice, la fête jusqu'à l'aube, le brunch... Il fut si difficile de repartir.... et donc, nous reviendrons pour partager ce petit Chablis. Isabelle et moi, nos invités, nous garderons tous un magnifique souvenir.
