Coming from the UK, we think this zoo is excellent. The entrance fee was very reasonable, so much parking and a good number of visitors - not so many it feels crowded and stressful (as it would in UK) and not so few it lacks an atmosphere. The food was simple but very good quality and the animals seemed content and well cared for. They all were easily visible and came very close to the glass, the lion even gave us a great Lion King show. The grounds were really pretty and tidy, staff friendly, and it was overall a very pleasant and relaxing visit. I will definitely return and recommend this zoo.

A zoo that has "human size" (not too big, not too small), easy for kids and accessible for strollers and/or people with disabilities. Pricey but it's a zoo... Gotta feed the animals!!

Superb zoo with tastefully thought out animal enclosures giving the animals space and activity. Plenty of viewing angles and the use of lots of bamboo screens the animals from each other. There's a decent restaurant doing 2 courses for €18 or a simpler place offering panini and frites.

We stayed near Caen and were looking for a nice place (in the surroundings) to visit with our younger kids. We found a folder about this zoo in our hotel and decided to go. The parking is large and free, the entrance at a decent price and the staff very friendly. You can see more than 300 animals and more than 65 species in a 10-hectare landscape trail! Some parts allow you to walk between the animals and see them closely. The complex also offers an amazing playground for your kids. The whole visit takes around 4h, but you can obviously stay long. A nice place to stop and visit.

Great Zoo - one of the best I have ever been to. It actually looks like a botanic garden where someone put some animals... beautiful trees, plants... and great animals. Absolutely worth visiting.

Such an Amazing Zoo! It quite quickly has become our absolute favourite zoo. Ticket prices are very reasonable considering the experience you get, friendly staff. Great selection of animals who are clearly well looked after. You can pay a bit extra at the entry to get food for the goats and I couldn't recommend that enough such a great and fun experience. The restaurant is really good too, friendly and polite staff. Amazing food and selection and good portions for a reasonable price. The chicken nuggets were amazing, the apple pie was amazing and the coffees?! Absolutely insane how good they are. Even the cheeky birds who tried to steal and break my husbands trainer was great entertainment for us and everyone witnessing it.

Super little zoo. Good range of interesting animals and enclosures are mostly easy to view. Some can be entered to be close to more tame animals. Lots of trees for shade and a few shelters, including covered picnic areas. Toilets are a bit sparse, just one cubicle for the 1/3 of the site over the road. Well worth a visit for all ages.

Fantastic day out for me and the family! Fairly priced and lots of stuff to do as well as talks!
