I am not sure how I selected this Hotel but I am glad I did.|From arrival to departure everything was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bedrooms a reasonable size, beds comfortable and well equipped. |Sitting in the outside garden on a summers evening was a delight.|The highlight was the evening meal. The best my wife and I have enjoyed so far in 2026. Each of our 3 courses were very good. Service was attentive but not rushed. If only we had a restaurant this good close to our home we would be regulars.|If you have a chance to visit Gap make sure you stay here.

The hotel was awesome in terms of service, comfort, value & peaceful surroundings. It was the perfect stop in between Annecy and St Tropez. We really enjoyed drinks on the patio and dinner in the restaurant. They have a nice continental breakfast option available as well. Highly recommend!!

Upon arrival we thought what a lovely quiet location yet not far off the beaten track. The rooms are spacious but scruffy and the terrace was covered in tree debris. There is a nice pool that needs tidying and a garden bar but nobody to serve guests. Garden equipment left out, dozens of tables and chairs, and stuff all over the place it was such a mess. The staff are mostly young men who are all pleasant but nobody seemed to be in charge. Slightly chaotic and we felt in the way. The dining room is in the basement only accessible by lift which was strange. We ended up just laughing at it all. Have to say hats off to the chef who produced three delicious meals.Absolutely lovely food which made up for other shortcomings like a room service tray left outside the room was still there next day. Clean the place up please, clean the carpets and we will return

Very well maintained property with a friendly and helpful staff. It is the perfect location outside the city center and up in the hills but not but 5 minutes from the ancient city. The restaurant is excellent, we ate there both nights. It is a casual light environment suited to the Haute Alpes. But hi quality. The menu slightly changes each day which is nice. The wine selection is very good at very decent price points. Here the staff is friendly and efficient as well.

Unfortunately we were only at the hotel for one night, so we did not get to fully enjoy the relaxing environment. The outside bar and pool looked wonderful, and I can imagine staying here for a longer period in the summer to enjoy the relaxing environment. The same can be said with the gardens, that had a spectacular view of the building façade. Certainly an ideal location and hotel for anyone wanting to tour the surrounding countryside, and come back to a very relaxing and enjoyable Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Les Olivades looked after us so well. We really enjoyed our stay. We are a family of 4 and the room was a great size, fitting us comfortably. The kids loved the swimming pool and we were very lucky with the beautiful weather. The restaurant is smart and 1 night we ate a delicious supper at the restaurant but you are also close enough to explore & eat in Gap and the surrounding area. The Hotel was also close enough to the mountains to enjoy all the activities and swim in the beautiful lake. All in we had a brilliant 6 days and would definitely return. Thank You.

Wonderful facilities and a tranquil environment to use as a relaxing 'home-base' while touring the region. Perfect for warm weather with the outside pool and bar. The garden and patio area are wonderful. The area of the dining room we sat in was in the cave - like a classic wine cellar. Staff were very friendly and available to assist.
