Appearances can be deceptive. Unfortunately, our stay did not meet expectations. I debated giving this property one star, but ultimately gave it an extra star solely for the visual appeal of the facility. At first glance, the complex is impressive. However, once you settle in, numerous issues become apparent—serious enough that I would not return or recommend this place to others. We stayed during winter, and while snow is expected, basic safety measures are not optional. Walking paths were not salted or secured at all, which is dangerous given the size of the complex and the fact that guests must walk long distances with luggage. The parking garage is another issue: it has a narrow uphill entrance, requires getting out of the car to open the door, and has extremely tight parking spaces. Guests frequently park outside their designated spots, and there is no staff oversight. The room looked nice initially, but on closer inspection, it was not clean. The kitchen was unacceptable—appliances were poorly cleaned, dog hair was present, and there were stains on the bed covers. Soundproofing is very poor; we could hear neighboring rooms clearly day and night, making proper rest nearly impossible. Communication with staff was frustrating. The front desk cannot be reached by phone, emails go unanswered, and operating hours are very limited. Because reservations are required for the spa and gym, this lack of availability effectively prevents access to these amenities. Check-in was technically smooth, but the information provided was incomplete. Important details are only available via a small QR code in the room. While this may seem modern, not all guests use smartphones or know that essential information is hidden behind a QR code—especially when staff fails to mention it. The spa area looks appealing but is unhygienic. Guests and staff walk through the spa in outdoor shoes, tracking in snow and dirt, before guests are required to walk barefoot. Slippers are not allowed

*** MUST READ IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING ENGAGING WITH TERRESENS *** If, like me, you have been seduced by glossy Terresens emails promising you your own piece of Alpine paradise, all wrapped around an “out-of-the-box, you can’t lose” rental management programme, then read this review before you even consider engaging with them. My story started in December 2020, when I was contacted by Terresens about a new development in Peisey Vallandry. Following a very slick pitch, in which I was assured I was dealing with one of the leading developers in France, I signed a legal reservation agreement with Terresens in January 2021 (which of course included the price). I paid the deposit and locked down the property - or so I thought. I then spent thousands of Euros on variuos legal and other fees to finalise the purchase, including making an additional 500 Euro payment to Terresens to customise the architectural plan. Just days before we were due to sign the purchase deed, Terresens informed me they were increasing the price of my property from the agreed 685,000 Euros to 927,000 Euros. Yep, you read that right - 18 months after signing the reservation agreement and taking my deposit, Terresens gave me an ultimatum of paying almost 250,000 Euros more or losing the property, just days before completion. I was beyond incredulous - I literally found it unbelievable that a developer that describes itself as "the leader in the concept of secondary homes in the mountains" would even think of behaving in this way. We had a legal reservation agreement in place which had clearly specified the purchase price; I'd paid the required deposit in full; I proceeded with all the necessary activities to complete the purchase; and I even paid them a chunky fee to update the architectural plan. When I of course refused to pay the increased amount on the basis that we had already signed a Reservation Agreement which clearly specified the purchase price, Terresens then simply informed me that th
