An absolute gem in Narbonne! Cave à Manger effortlessly combines wine bar, bistro, and gourmet experience into one cozy, unpretentious space — all delivered with genuine warmth and care. The menu is small, seasonal, and bursting with creativity. Every dish is thoughtfully crafted to pair beautifully with their impressive selection of natural wines. The wine list alone is worth the visit, but the food truly elevates the entire experience. The dorade tartare, entrecôte, and the strawberry éclair and milhojas were absolutely to die for. Our Kids also had a delicious menu for 20 EUR. What made the evening even more special was our amazing server, not only incredibly friendly and attentive, but every single recommendation she made was spot on and absolutely delicious. You could really feel her passion and knowledge. The service is outstanding: warm, professional, and full of personality. You don’t just feel looked after, you feel like you’ve discovered a new favorite local gem. Whether you’re in for a relaxed dinner, a glass of wine with a few small bites, or just passing through town, Cave à Manger is an unforgettable stop. Highly recommend booking in advance — and don’t be surprised if you’re already planning your return visit before the night is over.
If you’re traveling in the area, this restaurant is definitely worth a stop. The chef, Lionel Giraud who has 2 stars in the Michelin guide, created this bistro next to his main restaurant, the food is amazing, and the wine list is great.
Amazing place, amazing food, amazing service. I reccommen 😍😍😍😍😍
The place was full on Saturday evening and no wonder! We went for a very very simple menu for 35€ and it was an absolute steal. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Our waiter spoke perfect English and knew the menu very well.
Excellent food, nice service, easy to reach and easy parking.
Absolutely excellent food service and atmosphere, one of the best meals I’ve ever had in France
We have been here a couple of times now and we have been given consistently good and friendly service. The choice and quality of food is good and obviously there is a wide selection of wine that if you enjoy you can buy and take home. The restaurant is modern and clean and the parking and access very good. What's not to like!
Great choice of wine. The food is good. The service is correct and the staff friendly. Now, it lacks a bit of cuisine in my humble opinion. The neighborhood sucks, being in the middle in the commercial area between cars and gas stations really is not appealing. And last thing : 35€ for the lunch menu is way too expensive for what it is.
