It was an amazing experience.. the guide recording on the bus was very captivating. It talked about the history in a story telling kind of way. The English is very interesting because you can tell it is translated from French. We got to stop at the top of the hill where the chateau is… it was a belle panorama :)

This is such a fun way to get around the area without having to walk so much and getting lost! On the inside of the train, there are headsets (four per row) that you can wear to listen to a guide talk about the sights you’re visiting; they have eight different languages available. When you arrive at the top of a peak, they give you fifteen minutes to look around and take photos. My only complaint was that the tour wasn’t longer because I had so much fun and really enjoyed myself!

Great way to see more of Nice if you don't have a lot of time. Commentary was informative and interesting and there's a 10 minute stop to view the waterfall and Nice which is spectacular. Toilets are available but if paying by card the price is €1.50 as opposed to 50c cash

A great way to see Nice. This electric train runs every 20 mins and is nearly an hour long. The commentary is great and you choose your language on the headset. It's very informative and gives you many historical facts about Nice many centuries ago. It is $12 per person to ride and there is a quick break at the viewpoint for 10 mins. The views up here are incredible. We elected not to get back on train for the return journey and instead stayed to enjoy the view and the walk back down to the Promenade. There is only the one stop to get off. The rest of the time you will remain on the train.

Highly recommended. It’s worth the price. We enjoyed the ride. Easily you can reach to top of the castle and enjoy the top view of Nice. Experience was very good. It’s very convenience too. Take the ride and enjoy the view on the way.

Quirky and fun. It was quite slow as was frequently held in traffic, but is a good way to climb to the top of the hills and see the best views of Nice.

Train Tour for old nice corridors was very interesting. Those who wanted to have a nice tour at the area will be highly benefited. Tickets can be bought near the boarding point.

We paid the tickets and immediately after the driver told us that actually he had a group of very moody old tourists and doesn’t know where we can seat in the train. So we had to wait for 15 mins with 2 small children to see other adults coming and taking apparently their reserved seats, although we had paid the same way they did. A family of 3 adults even asked us to give them our seats, as apparently they wanted them badly and couldn’t seat somewhere else, and the driver insisted that we let them. Overall, very unprofessional and quite rude attitude from the driver and the other group tourists he had. Do not recommend, better go on foot and avoid all the hassle. For us it was money wasted.
