Avis
The château is beautiful from the outside and well worth seeing for its architecture and setting. Inside, however, the experience was more mixed. The rooms furnished with period furniture and the historic kitchen were interesting and gave a good impression of life in the château. On the other hand, some parts of the exhibition felt rather out of place. The illuminated flowers accompanied by background music were not really what I expected to find in a historic château and did not add much to the visit. Overall, the exterior and the authentic historical interiors were the highlights for me, while some of the modern artistic installations were less convincing.
Lovely afternoon I've been trying to go since last January, but it never happened well I took my family and they loved it I knew it was place for everyone I just needed someone to agree and we agree it's beautiful and for all ages.
Lovely Château. Definitely worth a visit. It's free to walk round the gardens and moat. Also free to walk round the inner courtyard. Toilet facilities are available. If you wish to view the Château internally there is a small fee to pay. Parking is plentiful and free, as is most French areas in this region of France. Wonderful spot to visit.
This is a beautiful place to visit. The grounds are stunning. We went on a tour of the castle and information is provided in both French and English. This used to be a guided tour but now you can walk around at your leisure. There is visible renovation being done to the roof and walls which makes the castle even more impressive. Suitable for all ages, its a place I would return too.
This is a 'wow' Chateau ! We actually packed in the wonderful Parc next to it, but the Chateau does have a large carpark with no height barrier. Entrance into the Chateau is €7, but the grounds/gardens, inside square, and a hunting rooms are free. The rooms are all furnished beautifully, and each room has information in both French and English. The guides are extremely helpful, and the elegance of the Chateau transports you through history to a time of wealth and servitude. It was very much by chance we chose this particular Chateau to visit, and we're so pleased we did, well worth a couple of hours. Little gift shop. Toilets. No refreshments.
Definitely worth a visit. Good value. Beautiful gardens.
Many varieties of apple and pear trees in the walled garden. The gate house is spectacular and the chateau is really worth a visit. Most areas are accessible free of charge. If you have children take bread for the fish in the moat.
Surprisingly interesting, if you're around you should try to get to see it
