This tram station is the starting point of Tram Line 7. I use it when traveling to Orly Airport, and the journey takes around 30 minutes. The station is practical and easy to access, especially with the connection from Metro Line 7. The tram is a convenient and affordable option to reach the airport, with tickets costing around €2.05. It is a good alternative if you want to avoid the more expensive airport transport options.
Is there a way for tourists (without time pressure) to avoid the overpriced direct airport shuttle to Orly? Tip: take Metro Line 7 to the final stop (Villejuif) then hop on Tram T7 for a leisurely 30-minute ride that brings you almost directly to the departure hall. Regardless of the cost savings it’s also worth it as a little excursion through the southern suburbs of Paris.
