Liked: Peaceful, good sized pitches, partially shaded within the trees. Very helpful owner who speaks excellent English. Walkable to Frejus. The restaurant is situated at the top of the site with magnificent views and the food was excellent with very friendly staff. Disliked: I assume we were the first campers for the year as only one facility block open and they had to power wash it down before we could use it. The showers and toilets were modern and clean but the block itself was in poor condition. This is mainly a static site but for the rates they charge the block should have been better.
Very kind and welcoming staff and owner. Good location, big pitch sizes and clean facilities. Def recommend
During my recent visit to le dattier I have had an amazing time. I stayed in a mobile home with my girlfriend and have had no complaints at all. The campsite is not loud at night which meant for completely silent nights undisturbed meaning a fresh wake and ready for the day ahead. With that being said the facilities from the pool, bar, showers and location being great we were able to enjoy and relax during our stay. The site is located in what we found was a good central location from all the activities all the activities. This meant that we were close to a local supermarket which made purchasing goods for use at our mobile home super easy. All the activities we decided to do such as, beaches, water parks , local towns, and st Raphael, were all within 30 minutes of the site which was a great result. On top of this the food served on site is absolutely exceptional and couldn’t be any better. The staff on site are very friendly and will tend to every need. With all that being said I couldn’t recommend this place enough and would encourage anybody to visit as I have enjoyed my stay and couldn’t ask for anything to be changed.
Liked: Nice friendly host. Nice takeaway across road (Joy's pizza). Security gates. Disliked: Poorly maintained overgrown pitches, very sloping (hilly). One toilet block open and no paper or soap. No evidence of being cleaned. The site generally needs some TLC.
The restaurant team of julie and steve are just perfect. The quality of the ingredients was something special. The welcome and atmosphere is something you rarely see. The campsite is just amazing. Two different swimming pools, tennis courts, outdoor exercise equipment, ping ping, playground and pet friendly. Relaxed, not noisy, calm and well the donkey bumba makes everything wonderful. Olive Grove right next door.
I’ve been staying at Le Dattier for the past 8 years, and it truly feels like a second home. Myself and my family are always exceptionally well looked after by Paul, the owner, and his wonderful staff. The site itself is beautiful, but what really makes Le Dattier special is the strong sense of community among the people who come here, it’s warm, welcoming, and something you don’t find everywhere.||Over the past 2–3 years, I’ve invited many of my friends to join us here, and after staying, they all feel the same way I do and plan to return. The food is consistently fantastic, the service from the bar is always friendly and efficient, and there’s great entertainment to enjoy throughout your stay. With excellent facilities and such a positive atmosphere, I can’t recommend Le Dattier highly enough. It’s the perfect place to relax, connect, and create lasting memories.
Great weather and great campsite with large pool. Great restaurant and bar
Liked: The pool area was pretty and 2 of them with a nice area to sit around. Games room was good. Pitches were a good size. Lots of greenery around. Disliked: On quite a big hill up to reception, which didn't really bother me but would be very difficult for some people.
