Avis
Convenient location no more than two minutes from the DFDS ferry port and 4 to 8 minutes walk into the town and seafront. Stayed in July 2022 on the first occasion. Very clean. Well looked after. Spacious parking spaces. Limited use of electricity and water but enough for a 24 or 48 HR stay. Was an inexpensive stay, but not anymore. Will definitely use again. Wasn't too busy either. Have passed it many times but never stopped. Easy ticket and payment system. There are also bins by the entrance. Returned again at the end of October 2024. When the price had increased to €18; which is a lot of money when you consider that it is only supposed to include an hour of electricity. Also when you compare the services to those offered by aires provided and managed by camping-car.com. That said a motorhome was parked in the area by the service point for over six hours connected to the electricity. Probably not charging but definitely preventing others from using the electric point if they need it. It appears that the area isn't monitored or 'policed'. One motorhome, at least nine metres was parked sideways across two to three spaces. I wonder if they paid 2 x €18 for their daily stay? Probably not. You'd be very upset if you arrived and couldn't get a space because of such inconsiderate and selfish parking. For that reason plus the increase to €18 I've changed my rating from 4 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 to 3. Though of the two aires in Dieppe this is probably the better. It's worth bearing in mind that if you're visiting Dieppe at the moment the old bridge from the east side of the city across into the main part of the town has been removed for refurbishment, so there's only a temporary pedestrian bridge, which does close on certain nights of the week at 9pm. First off, it’s a tarmac parking lot in a big town, so we’re not rating this for its beauty. It does have the back drop of the cliffs, so a bit nicer than the more central site. Nice large spaces, 2 good lanes for van ablutions (no other facilities), and when the bridge is open, a short walk into the centre of Dieppe. There’s a footbridge while the main bridge is being refurbed, but check for closure and, in our case, a strike all day Sunday that closed the footbridge. 0.7 miles to the ferry terminal.
Got off the Boat, just gone 9.00pm. Went straight there, didn't want to drive very far. It was great very close to Ferry Port. All EHU were occupied, it had grey waste, fresh water and chemical toilet. We got an early start in the morning, job done. The price for the night was 14.44€
Handy for the Ferry back to Newhaven. 2 minute drive to the port.
Well located Aire 5 mins from the ferry. However 19 euros for an overnight stay is a bit much especially as you can’t always get a EHU and when you do they are only switched on in 4hrs slots. On the plus side far less stressed crossing from Newhaven than going via Dover or the tunnel. Dieppe is also beautiful with a super bakery in the old port area.
Price has increased a lot to 18 euro/nt, and it is not as busy, as that is on par with some local campsites with full facilities. Its very convenient for the ferry but would only stay 1 night. Although Dieppe is a lovely place.
Convenient motorhome parking next to the ferry terminal. Easy access big spaces. Water and sanitation. Couple of hook ups, so don't expect one. Other wise it's good. Local shops and green grocery near by.
Very close to the ferry terminal - if you can get in and want to pay (14 Euros ish). It was full when we arrived around 8pm. A friendly Frenchman told us we could try the nearby church car park instead - which is exactly what we did (for free).
