Amazing place! This is by far the best B&B you will find to explore the Vendée. Amélie and Sébastien are the friendliest, most helpful people we've met, they will make you feel right at home. Our room was very comfortable, the garden is lovely with a nice pool, seats and sunbeds to relax, breakfast is great (fresh eggs from the chickens, products from the region etc.) We will definitely come back.

Incredible B&B! Beautiful and clean home, super friendly hosts, and delicious breakfast. They were great, we had our bikes with us and they let us keep them in the locked garage which was great. Highly recommend!

It was an absolute delight to stay at Au Clos des Templiers. The location is very quiet and peaceful, with its own 'wildlife pond' and outdoor swimming pool. We did not use the pool but it was available if we needed it.||||From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. The owners, Sebastien and .... couldn't have been more helpful and perfect hosts. They did everything imaginable to help us with some of the very specialist needs we had. They very kindly invited us to join them for a chat and drinks, which we very much appreciated and enjoyed. They are new to the business, but have a very good understanding of what is involved in helping their guests and in providing the best of facilities. Breakfasts were perfect, easily amongst the best we have ever gotten in any B&B type accommodation in France (and we have stayed in dozens over the years). Also, most mornings we dined with other guests and had some interesting conversations.||||The room which we used had a small separate kitchen, which was most useful. The decoration was tasteful, the bathroom was spacious and our room had front and rear external exits, which we found very useful. The grounds were very well maintained. Parking was plentiful and very safe.||||Au Clos de Templiers is a really lovely place to stay and I have no hesitation in recommending it.

Friendly welcome, Very nice and spotlessly clean rooms and a good bed. Tasty, varied and sufficient breakfast. Helpful host and opportunity to have supper.||Near to La Rochelle, but quiet and peaceful.||An absolute must for those who want to enjoy a pleasant environment!

We stayed for 8 days at the Au Clos Des Templiers on the edge of the Vendee if France, the owners Laurence & Sebastian were so very welcoming and tended to our every request. We spoke very little French and they speak very little English, this added to the charm as we used phone apps to communicate and by the end of our stay we all had learnt more of each others language.||The B & B is very rustic we stayed in the romantic room with a nice big bed and a good size bathroom. The bathroom had a shower and sink plus room for your bits and bobs.||we had a good view over the fields and saw some great sun sets every night. ||The breakfast were continental with yogurt, french bread, croissants jam etc .. nice big cups for tea or coffee plus orange juice.. a couple of times Laurence made her lost bread translated from french a bit like English pancakes, very nice.||Outside they had safe ample parking and it was very very quite.. they have a pool but alas a bit chilly for us to try, maybe next time.||The only thing we found frustrating and this was nothing to do with the B & B was ll restaurants not in major towns do not open till 7 pm which is difficult for someone who always eats and 6 pm...!!||All in all we would thoroughly recommend a stay here short or long and if we are ever back in the region would love to go back.. thanks you Laurence & Sebastian

Lovely place, very welcoming host and spotlessly clean facilities.|Very peaceful place to stay en route to La Rochelle.|Very comfortable bed. Good breakfast.|We ate at le grill which is a six minuets drive from the b& b. Would stay here again if we were in the area. Also has a swimming pool in season.

This is a very nice B&B - hosts, room, garden, breakfast - everything is great. We would like to visit again.
