**So far, 3 days with no running water** We arrived (family of 5 with three young children) on Saturday, to a general water outage in the residence. It’s now Monday night and we still have no running water! The hotel staff seem to have no customer service training and seem to be completely unbothered by the situation. Guests are having to take showers in the pool area, which is dirty, with blocked drains and toilets that smell awful. We have emailed Nemea on their dedicated email address but so far have had no reply. At this point we cannot even flush the toilets, or run the tap to was our hands or dishes or anything. We have had to purchase many bottles of water from a local supermarket just to be able to wash our hands and fill the kettle for example. This goes against basic consumer rights & laws, and based on how Nemea is dealing with the situation, I could not in good faith recommend this location to anyone. On top of that, our ‘Premium’ apartment, was not cleaned to a high standard. There’s dust on the headboards, dust and (maybe dog?) hairs on the floor. The kettle was full of limescale, and we had to request towels and a Nespresso-style coffee machine that were supposed to be included in our stay. Unacceptable for a so-called ‘4 star’ hotel. They should be reviewed again and stripped of at least one star. Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND booking here.
Fantastic place for the kids! The kid room is full of events and plenty of child care time for the grown ups to get away and enjoy some couple time. Across from the beach yes windy but still a hit for everyone.
ONLY A PLACE FOR FRENCH PEOPLE AND NOT FOREIGNERS! We checked in yesterday and the room wasn't ready until 2 hours after check in. It is a rat hole that was not cleaned on the terrace, where down in the basement there is no sun at any time, even though we were the very first in line. They don't speak English at the reception, but just sit and are angry and arrogant. The reception girl is very angry and unfriendly, and obviously doesn't like non-French people. Despite there being many available rooms, and we paid in good time and some we have spoken to got something much better when booking the day before and no one had any wishes, we have had the worst. We sense that they are actually happy that the French are getting the good stuff, and we have to thank them for the worst location in the whole complex. There is no management or anyone to make decisions. We also deliberately chose a complex with a pool, but their lame excuse for it not being open is because it has been windy and a few leaves have gotten in, which can't be surprising when they are by the water. So if you are not French, you will be treated badly, as we, as the only ones out of 120 who checked in yesterday, got the worst, and all the information, etc., is in French. It actually constitutes discrimination under EU law.
It was great stay. Loved the apartment and facilities. Pools were clean and perfect temp. Shame that bar upstairs wasn't working. Also room was a bit small but overall we had great holiday. Would come back.
I need to preface everything by saying that overall, we enjoyed our stay. The location was pretty good, the staff was nice, the facilities were adequate. But there were so many little weird things making it kind of hard to recommend. Here are some of them - Towels for extra fee (20eur for a set, if I remember correctly). I don’t know maybe it is common in France, but it's been a while since I encountered something like this and the last time it was in Soviet Union (or right post Soviet Union). - Free internet access for 1 device. Is this 2008? - Other extra fees that probably should just be included (parking, final cleaning, etc.) I guess they are trying to attract people with lower initial price, but all of these extras leave a bad aftertaste where I wouldn't even notice a few percent added to the total for a frictionless experience. - For a place that nickel-and-dimes guests for all kinds of stuff it's weird that there's no vending machine in the complex. Considering that the place is in a residential area with very few shops and cafes in walking distance. They would make a killing on a vending machine while making life easier for guests. - The "upper deck" was closed off because, as far as I understand, the floor tiles are dangerously loose. Would be understandable if someone was doing something about it. But no - it's just stands like this with nothing happening. - The pool area was fine but there was a notable lack of sunbeds at peak times. There's enough floor space for more sunbeds and since there's nothing on the upper deck and all the promo photos of the place show sunbeds on it, I wonder where those went? - The whole pool area is surrounded by a fence (why?) and the gate has a complex lock that literally every single new guest struggles to open. Our balcony was overlooking it and I witnessed multiple people leaving in frustration and had to try to explain how to open it to a few. Great disappointment. Overpriced for what it is. It is very very dirty: from common areas to the rooms and Swimming pool . Guests shall clean the appartement before leaving or pay 100€. So it basically depends on how the guests before you cleaned the flat. Great economy on the cleaning for the owner. Socks become black in 2 minutes. There is literally nothing in the flat when you arrive: no salt or soap to wash hands. We will not come back or recommend it.
Disappointment of a place, the pictures are a misrepresentation of the quality and standards of the apartments advertised. Seaside view can be enjoyed by tilting your head 90 degrees as proudly explained by the staff. Bed linen, beddings as well as the quality of the furniture couldn’t be any worse. We were meant to stay 2 nights and left as soon as we woke up after one night as it was simply unbearable. Avoid at all cost if you wish to spend a pleasant and enjoyable holidays.
This place has a great value for money. The apartments are very nice. Sauna and Pool are great facilities. The personnel is very friendly and helpful. It would be great to have there a reception manned 24/7. The internet is not great.
