Good value for money. Nice stay in a typical provencal home. Very comfortable bed and a very convenient location close to the beach and the historical center and also parking available. Recommended!

Hotel is located in a quaint corner, full of French vibes in Antibes, and very close to the sandy beach. The hotel owner Valerie was a pleasant hostess and most helpful with suggestions going to the nearby towns or help in communicating with a Uber cab. Perfect for those looking for relaxation and peace, after enjoying breakfast at the sunny terrace.

My family stayed at Hotel Le Ponteil for a whole week and we returned home yesterday. The whole experience was superb - the room was clean / air conditioned / decorated very well, the host (Valerie) was extremely attentive, including with our 4 year old … nothing, including finding a barber who spoke English, was too much for her! In terms of location - it’s smack bang in the middle of Antibes, literally a few minutes walk from Plage de Ponteil … a beautifully sandy beach with superb amenities. Also in walking distance of old Antibes, with its numerous eating out options! Also, more broadly, as a base to explore Monaco. Cannes, Nice, Menton … or even Grimaldi / Sanremo … these are all drivable from here in a day. The breakfast was superb value … fresh pastries / breads, a host of different cheeses / meats / honey / jams / eggs, fresh juices … as well as tea / coffee … for €15 per person per day. The parking situation was also very easy to navigate … and only cost €10/night. Overall - an amazing experience. We wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Le Ponteil to anyone who wants a traditionally chique French hotel with excellent amenities at a very reasonable price! We will definitely be planning a return trip!

We were really disappointed with our stay here. The location is good, however the new owner were having an attitude, and were not very nice or welcoming when we checked in. There were loud(!) construction work at the property next door, we were not informed about this in advance nor when we checked in.. We stayed in the family room that is located on the ground level right next to the construction noise..!! Also very bad conditions at the bathroom with broken tiles, low water pressure, as well as something that looked like mould. Would not stay here again.

A charming hotel with chilled-out atmosphere, positioned a short walk from the beach. We had a very comfortable room. The owners are so nice and very helpful. Having breakfast here is a must, so delicious and plentiful, the home-made granola and vitamin-shot smoothies were definite highlights.

This small family hotel is located in a quiet road near to the beach and only a very short walk from the centre of Antibes - a perfect spot to stay. The owners are delightful and go out of their way to make visitors' stays as welcoming and comfortable as possible. Breakfast (extra) is very good and is served in the small garden. Everything is kept very clean.||||The rooms are adequate but not large and ours had a strange metal contraption in one corner for storage and hanging - functional but not beautiful! We arrived to find we had been unexpectedly upgraded to one of the two rooms with a shady balcony which was a real plus and, without which, the room might have felt small. The en-suite bathroom was also pretty small but had all the essentials and lots of lovely hot water in the shower (although a soap tray and device to hang the shower head at head height would have been welcome additions).||||Would definitely stay again if visiting the area.||||Top tip - Do the beautiful coastal walk round Cap d'Antibes. A local bus will get you there and back very easily.

I never expected to have an experience like this in Antibes and I was totally surprised! Definitely one of the most charming hotels I’ve ever been. The owners are totally relaxed, super friendly and helpful. You feel like being part of the family. The breakfast in the beautiful garden is the best start in a new day you can have!

Wow. This really is a hidden gem! We stayed in the garden room. It was perfect, the room was nicely furnished. We had breakfast both mornings which were fantastic and very reasonably priced. Nothing was too much trouble! The location is perfect, close to the old town, a few hundred feet from the best beach in the area. Thank you again!
