The pricing is absolutely insane. Booking the sauna cannot be guaranteed and costs 50€/hour. So you can end up booking a place for 300€ a night and then not having access to the sauna. Also having to pre book the sauna takes the whole point of a relaxing experience away with having to have "scheduled relaxation".

Les Echasses is a very special place. I have been visiting this hotel repeatedly ever since its opening several years ago and have felt incredibly comfortable there every time. Particularly the personnel has been incomparably friendly. To me this place represents the modern definition of quality - it is a quiet refuge of very high luxury, every product served at the restaurant is organic and all fruits and vegetables are home-grown on site, one enjoys an excellent balance of enriching company and appeasing privacy and it is simply a stunning place. I cannot wait to be back very soon!

Our best halt this summer! Just a few lodges in the middle of a splendid pine forest, Les Echasses was for us the perfect balance between luxury, cool and tranquillity. Lodge's architecture and design are absolutely fantastic. The place is both really quite and close to Hossegor and Seignosse. Last but not least, owners was lovely. Good moment in life :-)

Nous venons de passer 48h en couple au domaine Les Échasses dans les Landes, et ce séjour restera vraiment un très beau souvenir. Le lieu est magnifique, chic et épuré, au calme, au bord de l’eau… une atmosphère presque hors du temps. Tout est pensé pour se détendre et profiter pleinement de l’endroit. L’équipe est discrète mais toujours aux petits soins, ce qui rend l’expérience encore plus agréable. Et mention spéciale pour le bain nordique : deux heures de pur bonheur, un moment magique. Une vraie parenthèse de douceur où tout est juste et parfaitement maîtrisé. Nous repartons reposés et enchantés. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter.
