Avis
I had a great experience at Hôpital privé d'Antony - clean facilities, comfortable rooms and friendly, caring and professional staff. I was in for day surgery and felt reassured and looked after at all times, from when I arrived to leaving later that afternoon. I didn't pay anything up front and was given a private room (through my mutuelle). Based on my experience, I would highly recommend this hospital.
NOT RECOMMENDED. My auntie was diagnosed with liver cancer and she received her chemotherapy in this hospital. Her doctor has never explained what stage/grade of cancer she had, never discussed life expectancy with her, never mentioned any alternatives to chemo such as radiotherapy or surgery. He never discussed end of life care, never asked about her preferred place of death and how she would want to spend the last few months of her life. Since all of these conversations did not take place, we all assumed that she was on the right track and that the treatment was suitable for her. Sudden deterioration was not anticipated. This week, she significantly deteriorated and was admitted. Her doctor implied that this was the end as he suggested that all relatives should probably come and visit her, yet provided no explanations or suggestions for palliative care. Now how can anyone specialise in oncology if they don't know how to break bad news? we discovered she was actually dying from a nurse who felt bad about us. We are not french, and I know my auntie's preferred place of death would have been back home. We did not make any arrangements to transfer her as we genuinely believed that being on chemo and staying in hospital was in her best interest. No one ever told us that were planning on discontinuing all treatments/allowing her to pass away without any further inventions. We should have been notified about this plan. The doctor withheld crucial information about her prognosis and used ambiguous language throughout her care. She has also recently undergone a random surgery to remover her ovaries, no one really understands the relevance of this surgery to the primary cancer. She is frail, on chemotherapy and has a depressed immune system, how would such patient be recommended unnecessary surgery at this stage? did they not think about the risk of infection? the only surgery she should have been recommended was stent insertion to prevent jaundice. she is now severely jau
Parfait 10/10
Worst f**king service. Dr. Casenove was extremely rude and didn't show any sympathy to my wife's pain. He rushed through the appointment without even taking a look at the problem. Moreover he wouldn't even give treatment for the issue completely.
