Great facilities, clean and friendly all around. April/May absolutely perfect time to go. Judging by signs of crowd management can imagine this place is insanely busy in summer. Tent camping spots are hard ground, not great for pegs and tent set up, large plots however the tent plots are close to the highway, road noise all through the night and can hear the high buzz of the swimming pool pumps all night. Probably wouldn't be a problem in the summer with everything going on.

Many big swimming pools, some with nice slides and some with a lot of palm trees. Two small indoor pools. All pools open from early April onwards. One big outdoor pool is heated. Tennis, Paddel, beach volleyball, football fields and a gym - all without extra cost. Great for children and adults. Is near a motorway, depending on the wind direction you can hear some sound.

I read some of the reviews here before our trip to La Baume and it sounded like it was going to be terrible! I wanted to leave this review to say that I don't know what these people are all talking about... we had a great time staying in a Eurocamp cabin.|- The cabin was clean. The aircon was effective.|- The pools were all extremely clean and not overcrowded. In August no visitors were allowed into the campsite.|- The variety of waterslides and pools was amazing and I can't really imagine going to another campsite with a better swimming experience. If you have kids of any age, it will be fun. The toddler splash pool was better than average, there are 2 slides that non-swimmers can go on, 3 medium slides and 2 really fun, more "extreme" slides.|- The restaurant at La Palmerie was very good food|- The "snack" bar at La Baume was handy for an earlier dinner|- Shop had a lot of things and wasn't as expensive as I expected|- The cabins are right in the middle of the site which is the quietest area|- I think the Eurocamp kids club was probably good, it had really nice reps, but my kid really just wanted to swim instead because the pools were too fun. Perhaps a more exciting playground would have been nice?|- There IS a bus stop outside the campsite that goes into Frejus. But - it's not very frequent, it's every 90 minutes at most, so you have to take a photo of the timetable and plan. We actually didn't take a car (you can take a nice (slow) train ride from Nice airport to Frejus) but had to Uber to the supermarket to get supplies.|- Don't know if the 'evening entertainment' was any good as we didn't really take part.|Enjoy.

We booked direct and had the acacia accommodation near to the bottom pool. All in all, this is a very average campsite. The sports facilities are pretty decent, the pool areas are OK although no parasols which was frustrating. The acacia chalet is a great layout and the planting throughout the site was really lovely and it was nice and peaceful being towards the end of the busy season. Its just let down by ropey entertainment and both pool and bar areas need some investment. They felt quite run down and really lacking character. The toilets were absolutely awful, I nearly turned around and went home when we first arrived and I used the toilet at the top pool with the awful smell and cleanliness and taps hanging off. Chairs at the bar were falling to bits and overall it just gave the impression of a run down place. Shame really but wouldnt recommend to others. Been to much nicer campsites with more going on and better investment in the bar and entertainment areas.

We had a brilliant trip at the campsite - I was worried beforehand after reading some of the reviews but our accommodation (comfort mobile home) was perfectly clean and tidy and had everything we needed.|The shop onsite has everything you need, including a bakery with fresh baguettes and pastries - everything from it was delicious. Food options were good, limited in choice but anything we had was very tasty. |The pools were great, especially for the children however you do need to go early if you want a sun bed.||The only slight downside is that it’s not super convenient to Frejus/train station - you can get a bus or taxi, we knew this before arriving so it wasn’t a surprise.|There is also quite a bit of traffic that moves through the campsite but you just need to be aware of that.|Overall we really really enjoyed our weeks stay and would definitely return.

The good - the pool complexes are nice, especially for older kids as they are deep. The Bad - there’s very little shade at the pools. They could really do with putting some parasols between the sunbeds, of which there are plenty. There a big queue, rush and scuffles for the few shaded beds every morning. Brutal. The ugly - it’s understaffed, the bar, and common area are very small and dingy, there is no good place to go in the evenings. At the 1 restaurant the food is okay but again not enough staff, you can’t get in after 8pm. The camp itself is a bit run down and the accommodations are tired. In summary I would not recommend. There are much better places to choose.

Hard to recommend. The site is under staffed. They allow day passes to use the facilities so the pools are over crowded and not exclusively used by paying campers. Biggest issue for us is evening noise. Camp has an 11pm curfew but it's not enforced. We have a group in the Mimosas villas who party until 3am every evening of our stay. It makes it impossible to get a good night sleep. It's reported to reception but NOTHING has been done or changed. I've slept around 3 -4 hours per night for the whole week and it's really ruined my trip. It's less family friendly than it used to be, if you are a group of young teens, you will fit in well. Families with young children should look to book other sites.

Staff were generally helpful and pleasant. One staff member at Eurocamp wasn't very helpful but the others were.|The mobile home needed a bit of updating. It was a bit worn. The fridge looked very old. Also, the key was missing when we arrived. The ones we were given did not work. We had to wait almost a day to resolve that which was a bit annoying. A few days into the stay, there was a mouse in our mobile home. I told the Eurocamp rep and he was very helpful and understanding. They moved us later that day to an upgrade mobile home which was nice. Both of these things affected how we perceived the campsite unfortunately. ||The swimming pools were fine but quite cold. The one at La palmeraie should have clear markings for depth as it's not clear which areas are safe for small kids. ||The shop was good and well-stocked. ||The campsite is big which leads to a bit of traffic as you need to take the car really if you're going to the front area as it's a long walk to go back and forth. As someone else suggested: maybe a small shuttle bus running from one end of the park to the other would be a good idea. This could be like the little tourist trains/ golf cart type thing - electric to save energy. ||However, overall we had a pleasant enough stay. Would recommend upgrading some of the mobile homes.
