Fantastic stay. The owners are really good people and go above and beyond to help out the guests. The breakfast was fantastic too. Highly recommended stay.

The rooms are clean, but just about as basic as a hotel can be. The hotel screams out for a refit by someone who understands what a hotel guest requires to be comfortable. The beds in my room (number 6) comprised 2 very narrow singles, with not very comfortable mattresses and very basic bedding. The television was multi channel (non English as far as I could determine) and was mounted 7 feet from floor level, making it very uncomfortable to watch. There was no airconditioning or fan provided and the room was rather hot. The bathroom was equipped with a shower in the bath, a toilet and a washbasin, but nowhere to put toiletries. The staff were generally helpful, except that the bar was invariably unstaffed and it was difficult at times to get a drink or a coffee. Upon leaving, I was conscious of the need to reconfirm my flight from Bordeaux back to London, as the outbound flight had been overbooked and I did not want to be stranded. I asked at the bar if there was a staff member at reception who could confirm my booking on the B.A. flight that evening and possibly print a boarding card. The lady who arrived was most irate and ill tempered, as I had apparently interrupted her lunch. After many huffs and puffs and words in Basque directed at me, she said that it was not possible to connect to the British Airways website. That particular lady may one day have similar concerns regarding a flight home and will realise how very unpleasant it is to be on the receiving end of an angry receptionist. One hour later, I managed to connect via a friend who lived locally and printed my boarding card. ||Would I stay there again? Positively not, as there are very many seemingly better hotels in the region, albeit at a slightly higher rate. The restaurant however was excellent, with several Basque dishes at very reasonable prices.

😊: Heel vriendelijke eigenaren. Helpen je waar nodig. Eenvoudige kamer, niet groot maar erg schoon. Prima ontbijt extra bij te bestellen. Gratis grote privé parkeerplaats. Bovenverdieping alleen.per trap te bereiken. Heerlijk rustige omgeving.. 😢: Mensen met evt handicap. Alleen per trap naar boven..

Bonjour, agur ( en basque ;) ) nous avons passé un super week end moi et mes amis autour de bon verre de pacharan !!! Super accueil de la famille INDA et du petit très mignon Eneko qui a joué a la pelote avec son grand frère c était super ! Ensuite nous avons pue voir le crocodile s endormir !!! Milesker Jean claude et peio ;) ! Super ambiance merci karmele pour la musique traditionnelle et les danses !! Merci beaucoup la bise de chez nous en auvergne et le clin d oeil a margeuritte !!|Ps ; le confit et le magret de Patrick baxoberri etait super !! Merci les lagunak !

Hemos estado una noche en este Hotel, y el trato ha sido maravilloso por parte de Karmele. Habitación muy cómoda y completa. Hemos descansado de maravilla, con mucho silencio a nuestro alrededor. Y a la mañana , nos han atendidos con un rico desayuno completo de todo, antes de ir de excursión al tren de la Rhune , que por cierto está a 10 minutos de coche. Gracias por todo! Ezkerrik asko!
