I contacted France Bike Rentals last fall to rent a bike to compete at Ironman Emilia-Romagna on September 20, 2025. I worked extensively with their office staff messaging back and forth to find the proper bike for me for the race. This was a destination race for me as I live in Canada. On bike pickup day I met with the mechanics and received my bike. They took my bike measurements that I had and transferred them to the bike I was renting. It was spot on. We made no further adjustments before the race. After the race I walked to the FBR booth at the Expo. The mechanics were there and took off my pedals. Everything went very quickly. I found them to be a very professional group of people to work with who are as passionate about cycling as I am. I do not hesitate to recommend them and would use them again in the future.

Very happy! Two days before the race, Gaetan helped with my wife’s bike rental when our airline lost her bike and didn’t deliver until it until the day after the race. It was a super easy process and quick. It’s a very fair price to rent, cheaper than what I paid to fly with the bike. They earned a loyal customer! Thank you!!

Excellent service, despite being extremely busy FBR made room for my late rental request. Delivered a high quality bike, on time and to perfect measurements and willing to make any adjustments on the morning of delivery. Collection was on time and everyone I dealt with were very friendly and accommodating. Will recommend and will 100% use again.

I rented a bike from FBR for Ironman 70.3 Luxembourg. These guys are so organized and great to work with. Their bikes are new or in great conditions. They were extremely helpful, especially Paul helped me several times to get the bike fitted before the race. Highly recommend them!

I rented a Trek Emonda SL6 Disc from FBR for three weeks. It was delivered in excellent condition with newly fitted tires (I requested, and FBR obliged, installing 28mm tires in stead of the stock 25mm). They adjusted the seat height to my fitted height, included two CO2 cartridges, a couple of tubes, a small multi tool and a pump. The bike was equipped (at additional cost) with power meters that worked well and connected easily to my head unit. The staff was kind and obliging. The person who delivered the bike was especially helpful and welcoming. Some poor communication around the pick-up location, drafting and timing of the final contract led to a dispute that was resolved in an adorably French way: think “Je t’aime/moi non plus”, but this would hardly be a reason for me to withhold my recommendation that you rent from FBR if you take cycling seriously and particularily if you’re taking on Mont Ventoux.

Avoid this place! I unfortunately used France bike rentals just for a quick tune up of my brakes at the Marbella 70.3 Worlds race. I had nothing scheduled in advance but they told me they can do the brakes quick. The employees that were helping me were not familiar with bike repair and customer service was awful. I paid 75 euro (about double their initial estimate given to me) for adjusting my brakes. I ended up having to fix them myself during the race since they were not fixed properly. I’m extremely disappointed that FBR doesn’t have experienced mechanics since when I tried to talk to them about what was wrong they were not understanding. I also asked why the price doubled and they couldn’t give me any explanation. I kept asking them to do whatever is needed to fix the bike but they said they were done. This is the worst bike shop I have ever dealt with. They have lied to me and cheated me.

Excellent service! I rented a Lapierre Aircode for the Granfondo Mont Ventoux. At arrival, the bike was already set to the measurements I requested and they provided extra tubes and co2 for the event. Would definitely recommend FBR if you’re looking for high quality bikes and service.

The bikes are great and well maintained. I thought the cost was a little high but didn't mind paying. I rented a high end Pinarello Dogma, did my triple ascent of Mt. Ventoux and had a great day. 5 stars if the store opened at the time they indicated and the bike was ready. It took a little too long to actually get the bike. Other than that, a great experience.
