HOLZAPFEL JACKY

Despite not being able to understand anything (it was all in French) we had a great time. The ambience of the old ruins combined with the bird show was amazing. You can walk around and see the birds before and after the show, which makes it a visit of around 2 hours. Definitely highlight of our visit to the medieval city!

Searingly hot but the birds still played their parts well. Be warned, they fly really close to you and one landed on my head. By design though. Great value for money and the surrounding ancient town is immaculate.

Great falconery reserve all the birds have been rescued. There are several shows a day depending on the season, with a multitude of different birds: eagles, owls, falcons, voltures and many more. Don't hesitate to wait to see one should you be in the area.

Totally Fantastic experience and well recommended - We love to go to see Birds of prey and have seen many displays in the UK and abroad and this was definitely one of the very best. So many birds flying around at times you didn't know where to look! The birds were flying so close you could feel their wings as they flew past!! All of the birds looked to be in superb condition as well and not being an expert but they looked like they enjoyed the show themselves and were happy to fly and return and that to us means they are well looked after! We saw fantastic Birds flying and the handlers did a superb job and put on a great show. The setting is superb and really adds to the experience, even though it is quite small the way it is laid out leads you to believe you have found some secret areas with the birds just perched there waiting for you to find them, and that was just walking around afterwards!!!! - we went on Saturday 7th May 2022 and when we next go to France we will be returning definitely :-)

Our second visit because we enjoyed it so much! Spectacular free flying bird displays set to music. Falconers in costume adds to the atmosphere in the castle ruins. The staff obviously have a good rapport with the birds and the aviaries are clean and well kept. Amazing experience in a spectacular setting.

Fantastic, took my granddaughter, she loved it too. Very important for children to see birds well cared for and happy in captivity.

Amazing birds, there is a really good spectacle but you should come 15 mins early

A serene and romantic setting for a lovely and exciting attraction. All the staff were friendly and the array of birds of show were spectacular. Well worth a visit. Plus the town around the medieval castle is worth spending some time in.
