SARL EGB OCEAN

I made an impromptu decision to stay here for 3 nights in early October (so just out of season) . The apartment was spotless. It had everything, toaster, kettle, microwave, 4 plate hob, fridge freezer, bath and the mattress and pillows were extremely comfortable. I tested the Wi-Fi and it seems to be standard ADSL2 good for most uses but probably struggles during full occupancy - I can't confirm. The internet interface suggests you only get 10mins but actually that's incorrect. Reading a previous review stated that everything was extra but that is clearly not the case for me. However, I opted not to pay the 14 euro charge for towels (which was the only charge being made) which I presume is a charge to cover those guests who choose to use them as beach towels and thus potentially destroying them in the process. The beach is a 2 min walk along sandy paths and view is then simply stunning ; a plethora of surfer dudes waiting for the waves to break. Resteraunts were a 10min walk away and whilst all the food I tried was most acceptable, the same cannot be said of the service, something French culture has seemingly lost in recent years. The local patisserie opens at 7am (even on a Sunday) and a coffee and freshly baked croissant given the location is simply bliss! To sum up; I had one of the most chilled and relaxed weekends imaginable.

Location is great, right behind the dunes, shortes way to the beach! The appartement is spacious but then the rooms for sleeping are small and the beds also. Always wake up with hurt in my back, my wife as well. Wake up 4 times every night because of singing party people returning back home. Consider taking some cure afterwards.... Finally, great to have a reserved parking places close to the house. But not a single charging station for us electric car drivers. The next charging lot in the center is regularly blocked (Iced). Actually the fast chargers in Biscarosse are out of order for several days. Might use my last electrons for a 2 hours charging trip to the next Tesla supercharger in Bigaros. At least thats a save tip.

No services provided with the rate paid for the house, everything is extra such as bedding and linens. We had the house close to the dune which is across from the reception building, we connected our electric car for charging as nobody told us we were not allowed to plug it into the house and the managing director tried to charge us 21€ for everyday of our stay even if we only charged the car for 24 hours. They were not friendly about it at all. Also, we were about the only house that was rented in their complex so not very busy and didn't grant us a late check out from 10AM to 12AM under the pretext that the cleaning crew was already there. The result was that the reception agent barged into our rented home military style with the cleaning crew to wake everyone up at 9:45. Needless to say that was not appreciated. Definitely suggest spending a little more in Biscarosse to stay in a proper hotel. The homes also need freshening up in general.

The location was excellent with direct beach access. The house was equipped with the basics and most of what´s needed for a decent stay. The downside was the service from the staff---it was not helpful at all during our stay--especially upon checkout. Would recommend the accomodations for a holiday but don´t expect any help or attention from the staff.

Location wise the best residences in Biscarosse. But: equipment and furniture if the houses is very poor. Old, not maintained and houses are not very clean. WLAN almost impossible to use. If you are lucky and get a connection the speed is very slow. All together 5 stars for location, 3 stars for the houses, overall rating: 4 stars.

Great place for family vacation. Nice houses with pools only a few meters from the Atlantic Ocean. Everything can be reached at a walking distance while it is a silent and beautiful place at the same time. Will definitely come back! Love it!

Decent place to stay, but no towels and toiletries included

It was a really nice play to stay at for a couple of weeks, everything you need and you're close to the beach!
