Drove an hour out of my way to see this after checking it was open . Turns out the website was not updated and it’s only open on weekends until later in March . Learned this by a note on the door . The schedule of hours was rather complicated in a flow chart they had created on the notice on the door . There was also scaffolding and fencing all around it
This is a full blown Roman city. Previous comments are underestimating this. I would recommend visiting the fort and the multiple archeological sites!
An excellent venue, especially if you're interested in Roman history. A huge site and information centre - great for a family visit.
Nice little village and roman amphitheatre. Stopped off on route between Mayenne and Loupfougères
