What an amazing find! We were looking for something to eat on our stop back to the UK and we had a scrumptious French version of a posh Welsh rarebit. The owner was friendly and attentive, the place was quirky and interesting and I can honestly say it was the best meal in the best atmosphere that we've found on our month- long tour.

Great place. Sunday night, a bit quiet. Manager, the lovely Christine, was prepared to do food for us. Quirky place, quite fascinating. Free campervan stop just 5 minutes along the road.

Nearly missed experiencing this fab bar as I was confused by the open 24/7 advertised hours. It did mean I didn’t get to try the food as I got food elsewhere beforehand. The lovely owner Christine (pictured) is going try to change these in Google but for now, please see her hand-written version of summertime opening hours. Basically, they are closed Tuesdays but otherwise open from the afternoon until late :D Great welcome, music, beers and - I am reliably informed but another customer - food!

Great pub very friendly and nice beers and bar food, an avant- guard decor , Christine and Lorelei give great service to all .

This is a really nice bar. Excellent staff, a good selection of drinks, and a very friendly atmosphere. We arrived here, late in the evening, after a long day travelling by motorbike. One of the customers, who thought we must be hungry, asked the staff if we could have some food,, so they opened the kitchen, and made us something to eat 😲.

We ate Welsh Rarebit created by Christine.Totally authentic and absolutely delicious. Better than most Welsh Rarebit that I have eaten in my home country of Wales. Congratulations Christine. Your place is very special and we were so happy to meet you. We'll be back soon.

BANGIN place, fantabitoesy mystique drinks (sweet beer), excellent evening cultural events on the odd blue moon - can even dabble in some pool or darts if you deem yourself worthy of the podium!
