It's a very friendly, cosy place, situated right in the middle of the touristic area. The stuff is very kind, the food is ok, nothing to complain but still not amazing, the decoration is so-so, I would recommend the place if you're on budget, it's far from being an expensive restaurant. Good quality for the price. I gave only 4 stars because I found the wine list to be a little too short, especially for France. Nonetheless we spend a very nice evening there.
Generally mediocre, not bad or impressive. The staff is very friendly and warm, and the interior alright. • It took a bit too long to get what we ordered - 40 mins between entrè and main, and the portions were small and the taste just ok. The beef cheeks are tender indeed. The salmon and chicken mediocre. Price range was ok but I would love to see some more effort on the dishes for what we paid.
Our host/waiter was very attentive. Gave detailed descriptions of our food and origin of the ingredients. Would go there again.
We had an absolutely incredible dining experience at Les Six Montagnes! From the moment we walked in, the warm, inviting atmosphere made us feel welcome. The food was exceptional – the salmon and rice pilaf was cooked to perfection, and the burrata and tomatoes salad was simply divine. The thoughtful presentation of every dish was almost as impressive as the burst of flavors. We can't wait to return to try more of their creative menu and will be recommending this hidden gem to everyone!
Had dinner on a overnight visit to Colmar. Good but not excellent experience. Drinks were very good and service was very attentive. The main courses on the specials menu were very attractive, unfortunately there was not an option to add appetizer to it without paying 19 euro (single appetizer plate price), or actually 22 euros for 6 oysters I wanted to try. So I opted for main course from the regular menu (beef cheeks) and oysters and a first course. I enjoyed the oysters but Mignonette sause was a bit bland. The beef cheeks were tougher than expected, but the sause was good.
Absolutely amazing dining experience! The food was exquisite — full of flavor, beautifully presented, and made with the finest ingredients. Every dish was a delight. Attentive service and a cozy atmosphere made it even more special. A true culinary gem!
It’s a small and beautiful restaurant in Colmar. We ordered oysters, trout and asparagus. They were all outstanding. The oysters were fresh and great pairing with muscat. The trout was cooked just right. The almonds on top added flavour and texture to the fish. The ham was ordinary but the asparagus was the highlight.
Fantastic experience. Love our meals, service was great, seasoning was on point and we enjoyed our meals. The snack plate was interesting and delicious, the tartare and steak fantastic and the desserts were a 10/10. We didn't have reservations and this was the sixth place we tried to eat at but what a gem! Great meal, no regrets and would highly recommend.
