Avis
The steep road climbing toward the snowy peaks, the sunset blazing behind the mountains, the thrill rising at every turn... and then, the next day, the hard crash against reality. Except for Oz Valley and the upper section (Altitude 3300) of the ski area, the resort's lower slopes are among the most boring in the Alps. And speaking of the upper section: when the main lift (Pic Blanc 1 and 2) inexplicably shuts down at 11 a.m., access becomes virtually impossible. The entire resort is funneled into the Oz Valley, turning its beautiful blue runs into a chaotic mix of bumps and churned-up snow that would put even the toughest Alpine off-piste to shame - plus an hour of queueing at the "L'Alpette" lift. The "iconic" runs? Tunnel: closed three days in a row (apparently standard practice). Sarenne: stunning at the top, but the final kilometers feel more like a cross-country trail, complete with gentle uphill sections. A unique experience - mainly because once in a lifetime is more than enough. A ski area stuck in the 1990s, with (still too many) outdated lifts that generate long queues and an almost total absence of magic carpets to handle small elevation changes. Its popularity seems owed more to influencers and YouTubers than to merit. The staff is lovely, but the €66 per day is money far better spent at Les Deux Alpes!
Great view and good access to the higher mountain there is a cafe at the stop. We walked back down, nice walk following to Les Doux alpe. It was €35 for 3 adults 1 child. Free if you walk up and come down on the cable car. You’d have deserved it!
Very fast and efficient option for getting up the mountain, especially Diable sector, but it also links in to all other sectors by taking another chair close by at the top. V fast and less crowded
Great lift, mixed format with 1 gondola to every 3 chairs, quick uplift and no queues when we visited Christmas 2024.
Fair price and great skilifts, awsome slopes amd very polite staff ! I recommend everyone to visit Les 2 Alpes atleast once in their lifetime.
No queues at all (in January 2026).
Easy way to the 3200-3400 area. Jandri gets busy so it's easier to go Diable - Bellcombe and then just Jandri 2.
Nice chairlift! It no longer closes automatically which isn't a problem but they have taken the hoods off so cold and blowy on a bad day. ..
