Beware of the coffee machine in the station. It is broke and you will waste of money as the machine is not giving you a cup but instead injected into the rinse.

The train station is very practical as it will take you to Paris in about 40mins. The only inconvenients are that it is for the past years always in renovations ( the building but also the railway). You can get to the center of Fontainebleau by bus (2€ last time I took it). Make sure all your belongings are in a safe place, there is pickpockets everywhere nowadays, being careful is always better to enjoy your trip or vacations. I'll advise you to get a navigo card that you can recharge at your convenience if you are traveling (not the monthly pass but on that you recharge every time you need). And if you take the train everyday of course the Navigo card with a monthly pass.

Got sold a monthly ticket which I thought would last a month, but turns out is for the calendar month. Would've been cheaper to get two weekly tickets since it's only 2 weeks until end of the month, but the attendant didn't mention either fact.

Train is ok but the station, no buses, no help and no taxis is not helpful at all. Tip book a taxi before you arrive!!! 30 of us been waiting 25-30 mins and it says they come every 15 mins. They don’t.

tiny and tidy, thus straightforward. very convenient to get to paris and the train comes at regular intervals. the transportation that connects to fontainebleau city center is a bit limited, but recently i bike! in all seriousness- just a post to show off my recently repaired old bike - she’s pretty isn’t it 💃🏻 - October 8 Less two ⭐️ My pretty bike was gone in the parking lot. Be careful when you leave your bike here 🥹

Ticket office opens at 11am so you can only use the machine. However no long queue but allow for plenty of time to purchase your ticket

Worst service ever!!! The train did not arrive on time even once.

Very nonsense station , lethargic people. No one works, I took ticket it got expired immediately… lazy officials of station .
