I am an American who was hospitalized while on vacation. The thoroughness and quality of care, even though we had a language barrier was amazing! I owe my life to the staff in ICU. Thank you.

This hospital is really a special amazing place. We came with my son apendicitis and they took such good care of us. The nurses the doctors the staff are absolutely amazing human beings and they care so much about the patients and make you feel confortable and safe. I could not recommend it more. Thank you I am full of gratitude to everyone here ❤️🙏

A broken leg required 4 days in Grasse hospital. Excellent service throughout, from the emergency arrival, through the operation, to release. I was fully informed and consulted at every stage of the treatment. Utmost courtesy and respect from every member of staff. The saline drip had come loose wetting the bedclothes in the night. This was not a problem for me, but the nursing staff completely changed the bedclothes at 2 am without any complaint and in good humour. The food was also excellent and the hospital is very clean. I cannot believe the transformation there has been in Grasse hospital since my last stay in 1995. The two weeks at Grasse hospital in 1995 was the worst experience of my life, with severe pain left untreated all night for several nights, it was only dealt with after my wife lost her temper and shouted at the director. Now, in 2021 the hospital is excellent, like a good hotel and backed up by first class medical treatment. Well done to all the staff and thank you.

Went with an 11 month old baby who had eaten part of an oleander leaf. These are extremely toxic. When we finally managed to find pediatric emergency, we were told we were in the wrong place and had to go down and register first and then come back. Next to this place there was a sign that said for pediatric emergency to go back to the door of the first place we went and ring that bell. That was a lie. When we finally registered (this lady was lovely and helpful) we went back to the pediatric emergency triage and were made to feel very silly (she said 'oh, has she eaten a bowl of salad' and 'in France we dry these leaves and eat them'. I suppose she thought we meant Laurier Sauce (bay leaf) not Laurier-rose? When we said they were toxic she laughed it off and said we must have found it on the Internet. Yes, but the British Medical Journal and the Royal Horticultural Society as well as plenty of French gardening sites and Wikipedia. The doctor was nice and called the poison centre and checked for any effects. It's mostly the triage nurse that made this experience less helpful than it needed to be. If she had taken in more than she did we could have been wandering back and forth looking for the place and easily been too late. I don't really understand how 'urgences' can be so laid back. I understand that lots of people go there with very minor issues but when you are rushing your baby in with suspected poisoning you want it to go a little more smoothly. Parking at urgences was full (of who???) so we had to throw the car onto the grass and run back, believing as we did that it was important to be seen as quickly as possible. I assume the rest of the hospital is generally good, but I wanted to highlight our experience.

We went for my wife delivery . The best hospital we’ve been. So grateful to all the staff. Couldn’t thank enough. Felt so lucky
