We stayed in an apartment for 2 nights as part of a Corsica Adventures tour. The apartment had way more than we needed but we enjoyed the space. It is well appointed and equipped, quiet, well lit. The bed was very comfortable. Not keen on the open style shower but would certainly recommend the hotel. The lady at reception was delightful and treated us very well. Breakfast was excellent. Location is ideal

Very enjoyable stay. Having arrived in Corte by train I made my way to the hotel, intending to leave my bag and go off exploring the town. I got to the hotel at 10am on a Sunday morning, mid-April, and what a pleasant welcome I received. Far from being an inconvenience with my early arrival, I was surprised and delighted to be told my room was ready and I could check in there and then. Thank you. The room was delightful, the hotel is ideally situated in the centre of the town, and there was a good breakfast too. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Hotel du Nord is a small friendly hotel very conveniently situated in the centre of Corte. We stayed for 4 nights in one of the studios after walking the Mare e Mare from Moriani. We enjoyed our stay and the room we had was comfortable and the soundproofing on the windows is excellent. Unfortunately there were a few issues that took the shine off what would otherwise have been a perfect stay: -Please be aware that the hotel is very poor at responding to emails. We enquired in advance whether we could leave luggage with them while doing the 5 day trek - we had no response so took a risk and took the luggage and fortunately it was no problem. -At the time of booking the hotel advertised on their website that all direct reservations included free breakfast. This was also advertised outside on the street. We emailed to confirm this was true but again got no response. On arrival we were informed that breakfast was NOT included with a studio reservation. The next day the website was partially amended to clarify this. -Finally we booked a studio with 38m2 and a settee and were put in one that was only 28m2 without a settee. We did not realise this until we had been in the room a couple of days and could not be bothered to complain again and move. Our advice is to have the details of your reservation to hand when you check in to make sure you get what you booked.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel; the room was spacious and comfortable and very quiet. The location is excellent, in the centre of Corte, and the decor is modern but with a classic style. The breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Faded glory hotel in the heart of a characterful, happening, town. Family run, welcoming and exceptional service. A good breakfast included in the rate. Can be a little noisy in the evenings, although not disruptive, but that is the price for being at the centre of a lively place.

We spent two nights in Corte and enjoyed the time very much. The location of the hotel is very central, we walked through the door and got right into the street life. The team of the hotel was very nice and helpful: concerning our room, parking, dining, what to do and spots to see, … THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

We had tried to stay two nights at Hotel du Nord, written up years ago in New York Times Travel, but were able to book only one night there. The morning of check-in, we arrived very early because we had checked out from another establishment in Corte and wanted to hike all day. The staff at Hotel du Nord took our bags and offered a lot of wonderful and detailed advice on where to hike, where to purchase the best provisions and the coldest and cheapest beverages and the most typical restaurants. We also were able to have our laundry done there. The breakfast was excellent and we were able to take away a couple of small sandwiches to bring on the train with us to Ajaccio. Our room was very spacious with a large window overlooking the Main Street of Corte, yet it was very quiet. The hotel is well-located in the charming town of Corte. Many thanks to all of the staff!
